One of the funniest films ever made. Hope the sequel lives up to it.

Re: The Only Respond in Song Lyrics Thread

Out of bed at eight am
Out my head by half past ten
Out with mates and dates and friends
That's what I do at weekends
I can't talk and I can't walk
But I know where I'm going to go
I'm going watch my money go
At the Locarno, no

Re: Star Wars on DVD finally

Sorry, George, you raised me better than my dad and I'm grateful but there is no chance that you will get another £60 + from me for these on Blu-Ray. Not falling for it again, give us Howard the Duck Re-Dux in 3D Special Edition or a documentary about the contents of your fridge but just stop it it ...

The first one was almost spot on. Simon Pegg was a miscast for me, shame because I like him but just not as Scotty. Hope this takes it up a notch.

Damn it. If Ivan Reitman is doing this then we'll have to wait even longer for Kintergarten Cop II.

Stupid question re: PS3 Slim. Asking for it for Christmas, and my parents are telling me that nowhere they've gone (e.g. Walmart) advertises a "slim" model. Are all new PS3s slim? Or are there two kinds out there regular and slim? Also, what is the point of the hard drive for someone who doesn't do...

Modern Warfare 2

It's not long until 10/11/09 and the launch of Modern Warfare 2. I can't wait to play this online and I'm sure (the UK postal strike not withstanding) that it will not disappoint. Games are taking over as my preferred choice of entertainment and this one will be huge. If anyone is joining in on the ...

As much as I don't want to like anything that George Clooney does these days, I saw the trailer for this and it looks reaqlly good. Count me in.

I don't know how I feel about this... But I do know that I am still enjoying the hell out of The Clone Wars . Didn't much care for the movie that hit off the series... but the series has been everything I was hoping for plus much better animation than I was expecting from it. And I credit the serie...

Re: Recommend Scary Movies

For Blair Witch to work, you have to let yourself get sucked in and believe what you're seeing. If you can do that, it is gold. It is especially ineffective in a party setting because if you are the least bit too cool you won't allow yourself to do that. If you can watch it at home, alone, with the...

Not sure if this has been discussed on here yet or not but what the hell? You gotta be kidding me with this one, a re-imagining of Predator?! There must some actors out there that are looking to start a career in politics and they figure this is the best way. What's next Freddy and Jason v Predator...

I must be seriously de-sensitised but nothing really scares me anymore. I was freaked out by The Exorcist and Alien but I was only 9 or 10 when I watched them. I've got Drag Me to Hell on the list but have been told it's not really that good. As for The Blair Witch Project, I wanted to walk out of t...

No, he's still a schmuck. George of the Jungle is not funnier than Blazing Saddles. Nor is that line from GotJ the funniest line in any movie, ever. Not by a long shot. Nor was the Bean scene the funniest scene in Saddles. He's still a schmuck. :green: :green: I'm still trying to get over the "comi...

One of those f***ing awful black days where nothing is pleasing and eveything is an excuse for anger. An outlet for emotions stockpiled, an arsenal, an armour. These are the days when I hate the world, hate the rich, hate the happy, hate the complacent, the TV watchers, beer drinkers, the satisfied ...
