Re: The Last Three Movies You've Watched

Inception :2.5stars: to :3stars: I have quite a number of gripes with this movie that I don't know where to begin, so I'll just say what I liked about it and leave the complaints for the "Inception" thread after I organize my thoughts. So...the visual effects were amazing, i.e. the folding of the c...

The Godfather Part II in Little Italy...how perfect is that! I would love to go, but as Agra says, wouldn't be worth it when all those people are already going.

Have you guys seen the posters for these yet? Amazing! http://www.wired.com/underwire/2010/08/robocop-poster/

Ooh. Either Sophie Marceau or Marion Cotillard. I don't know what it is about most French actresses...there's this angelic quality to them but with an edge. I like that.

Man, I just spent way too much time at this site. Fun and hottness together. Also lots for the fellas on there, but I'd rather share it with the girls. I'm obsessed with this website now. Thanks Mazer :D Oh, alright, I couldn't pick just one example. Love this picture of Lee Pace : http://25.media....

Also: nice work not typecasting JJ as, well, JJ. Ha thanks :) That's just too easy. I forget -- does Katie ever warm to my character or no? Very important stuff...knowing whether or not I get the girl. Dappucino -- scores with the recast. Is it the part I was born to play? I think yes. You get the ...

I can't believe he isn't big as a house - or extremely unhealthy - with all the stuff he eats. I'm also suprised he hasn't ever puked. He works out a fair bit to keep "in shape"... a couple of hours on a treadmill before the challenge and then again afterwards. I'd still be interested to see his ch...

Re: Movie or Book: Which is Better?

The Garris version of The Stand also has its merits. And don't forget Tommy Lee Wallace's IT. Ok, so the ending of the film sucked, but the ending of the book (IIRC) was a little too freaky for TV. Some bits of the TV mini-series still scare me now. My only issues with Garris' The Stand was ...

If I want to have a beer or two on my lunch break so the rest of the workday would be more interesting, would that be considered one of the first steps towards alcoholism? Not in my experience, no.
