Ok, along those lines..... A penniless old man attempts to commit suicide by standing in front of a moving train, while holding his beloved dog (for whom he has not been able to find another home). As the train approaches, the little dog struggles and manages to escape from his owner's arms and runs...

I thought it was an anti-hypertensive drug, similar to Reserpine...

I would've said Jack and Diane for a while, but I think it's got to be Pink Houses . Simple, catchy country-esque guitar, slow build-up into general screaming, American message that might be interpreted positively but seems pretty damn grim at times. That's Cougar. (btw, I was penning this while th...

How about "Maggie"?
(as in Maggie the Cat from "Cat on a Hot Tin Roof"....or Jake Gyllenhaal's sister, since you're a huge fan of his :D )
But seriously, I think Maggie is a cute name and see that the animal shelter's name for her is somewhat similar (Michi) already....

Wedding Crashers (2005) - 1st time - Why did people like this? It was horrible . The few semi-funny bits were all in the trailer. It was like spending two hours in the bathroom for constipation - painful, straining, and neverending -- only to have an awful, awful piece of SHIT come out in the end! ...

Very good questions! I don't know very many of the answers without looking them up, but I am guessing that it's a "closed book" quiz (ie. no reference books/online help)?

War of the Worlds (2005): I really liked it up until the part where they meet Tim Robbins' character, and then it got bogged down... only to hurtle to a sudden denouement . Also: too much time spent on the father-son relationship (why does an action flick have to be touchy-feely anyway? Sheesh....)...
