(not sure which sister) Fanning Elle I have no answers to the other questions. (I am also neither Jo nor Sugar.) Maybe she's all in on breast cancer awareness? (As with smithee, I am neither Jo or Sugar) Maybe she's a gift from Angelina to Michelle. (Also, I am both Jo and Sugar. And Spartacus.) I ...

Re: Ready Player One Discussion Thread (Spoilers)

I waited far too long to see this. the build-up/hype was too much. didn't live up to it. meh. read the book (the audible is also really good) pretty sure the movie ruined it for me. I def should've either seen the movie earlier (or read the book before the movie) Maybe some bits, but the book his f...

These are like Star Wars bad-lip-reading. Production value and voicework are actually very impressive. I expect A2 has seen it, though. Oddly, the reviews were positive ( Ro...

Re: Random thing that made you laugh

Out with friends celebrating can birthday, when the drunk birthday boy decides to share a story from who knows how long ago. (I almost created a new "random thing that made you do a spit take" thread for this one) He stated that he was once attested in Mississippi while trying to find a BBQ place. ...

Re: Yet Another RIP

He really was one of a kind. I have to go back and watch some of his earlier stuff--my FB feed today was stuffed with people discussing movies I never heard of/knew he was in. And I've never watched Maidstone, though the story of him hitting Norman Mailer over the head with the hammer is legendary....

Re: Game of Thrones (SPOILERS)

With a track record of 6 stellar seasons, one season that was apparently debatable (but I was completely onboard for) and two years of preparation, this show should have had gone out with a bang, but will now enter the same territory as 'Lost' of missed opportunities. And that is really a damn sham...

Re: Game of Thrones (SPOILERS)

I had a positive feeling about the first 2 episodes; they didn't rush into anything, great buildup to doom. Then came 'The Long Night', which had awesome moments, but I had my problems with (see above). Then came the twist of the second half of the season, which came mostly out of nowhere and we end...

Re: Game of Thrones (SPOILERS)

This has felt like a completely different show since they moved past what Martin has already written. That hasn't been a bad thing all of the time, but this episode in particular stands out. It just feels like they're gun-shy. You get the feeling, during the content that Martin wrote, that anyone c...
