Brokeback Mountain :4.5stars: Wow. Was not expecting it to be that sad. I was a little annoyed at Heath's character at first...he's very quiet and kind of grunts when he talks...but I grew used to it towards the end of the movie. Realized why its nominated for all the awards. It's amazing. Seriously...

Yes. He tried to borrow it, and then he tried to get his wife's father to invest in it, but failed before turning to drastic measures. He had gotten in over his head.

I can't decide how I feel about this...but it is Sofia Coppola...and it is Jason Schwartzman....I'll probably check it out, but I, too, am a little confused by the music.

I know how you feel. Ever since I was told that I would have to leave by December due to my bosses morally questionable preferences, I've been looking, but GO FIGURE, I'm not having any luck either. It sucks. In my experience, the best way to find a job is through personal recommendation... like a ...

On another, more fun note...my wisdom teeth are coming in and hurting like a mofo...called to make a dentist's appointment today for the earliest time possible, and the woman says it'll be in March...tell her that I'm in excruciating pain and ask if it can be any sooner and she says January 6, then....

Isn't it against the law to not get a day off per week? Xmas is two weeks to go Nope. Basically the only laws are minimum wage and overtime pay for hourly people. That's for sure. I find that people are shocked to discover how few of the employment "laws" they feel protect them actually exist. Swee...

Wicked awesome! I rock! I was just suspecting Knarf because of his fishy votes...I thought there was a pretty good chance I was right, but that's really all I had to go on...I was getting pretty scared that now we were lynching him, I'd be wrong and then I'd get lynched next.

Everyone talking about their Christmas bonuses and time off for the holidays, and I get neither. In fact, just found out yesterday that managers are not allowed to have another day off until after New Year's (except Christmas). And we're not allowed to do half-days, either. No...we have to work 8-10...

Just got my grades in for my first semester back at school with my 50+ hour a week job and still having full time courses, and I managed to get A's in all of them! (I was pretty nervous about Pre-Calculus since it reviewed both Trig and Geometry...the two subjects I struggled the most with in high s...

Hell...if someone's willing to listen to me now, I'll change to Knarf, too. It's what I've been saying all along...sort of. Anyway...I may end up changing my mind about you, Brodie. But this may just be one of your wolf tactics.

I think I'm going to go back to my first gut instinct on this one and say Brodie...at this point I should probably start to doubt my instinct, since no one is following suit, but I also have to look at the fact that everyone I thought was innocent thus far has been proven innocent.

Okay...just got back. I am a huge fan of the books, and I was not disappointed here. Much like everyone, I was pleased with the children's acting. If anyone else has ever seen the older versions, I was happy to see Lucy not having a tremendous overbite and an annoying problem with pronounciations as...

I'm going to see the movie Sunday night...so I tried to prevent myself from reading anything in here...but I couldn't refrain. Anyway, when I read Nunis's complaint about Liam Neeson, I went and checked the imdb page on the film because when I first heard of the movie I had read that Brian Cox was g...

Lords of Sucktown Ledger's performance has seriously got to be one of the worst performances in a movie ever. I enjoyed the movie a bit more than you did, but I agree - Heath Ledger was utterly deplorable. 'Tard. I liked this movie quite a bit, but for only one reason. The last on-screen appearance...

I guess I need to respond to Agra's post as well. I will say that I was genuinely stunned that there had been an attempted killing that day. I went to bed late the night before, and everyone had not even finished voting for the lynching. The following day, I worked a 12 hour shift, went to get some...

Isn't an estimate an educated guess? So why is it necessary to put the term "guess" with it? You should say that to that guy next time. He'd feel pretty damn stupid....which he clearly is.
