The answer is "no," but I've been trying on and off (mostly off) for the past month or so. Currently perfect up to Leonardo in WoWS

I think it's probably scary movie 2. That's the one with the beetle juice references and the clip is a big Winona rip off

A friend of mine was asking this:
Quote:
My well-rounded friends. Need your help identifying a movie.

I saw this a couple years back. Indie-ish flick. I really can't remember much of the movie except I remember liking it and it had a visual feel like Big Fish. I believe two guys were traveling, at one point they meet a hermit living under a bridge and I believe the hermit had a taxidermied bear. Maybe the hermit was Russian?

This ring a bell to anyone?

Quote:
Quote:
Is it Roadside Prophets with John Cusack, David Carradine, John Doe, Ad-Rock & Don Cheadle?
Nope.

I feel like the Russian thought one of the guys was trying to put the moves on the bear? And that guy had to walk under the river for some reason...

Anyway, Google is failing me on this.

Thanks for any help.

This one has bothered me for quite some time.
It's an anime movie or show that I must have seen sometime around 1990. The setting is a post-apocalyptic city (I figure it has been wiped out by aliens), where a group of perhaps 4 children are struggling to survive. From what I can remember they have just one weapon, some kind of portable nuke, that can fire just one shot. They walk along a freeway or overpass that has cars with skeletons on it.
In the final scene (?) a huge alien mothership appears in the sky above the city, breaking the clouds and the girl fires the single weapon at the ship, causing a huge discharge or flash. I can't remember if there was even anything beyond that.
I think the film/show was shceduled at the timeslot that usually had Robotech, but this somehow felt different than that. I haven't been able to find anything that fits the description so far.

Thanks for the help!

Around 18ish years ago I used to watch these really cool dubbed kung fu movies. One of them had 3 main stars I think, and they were surrounded by what looked at the time like 100s of baddies. The bad guys were dressed in 4 different colours and all together and every one of them attacked the 3 main guys who took them all out.

Anyone have any idea what this is or any films that are similar?
