All movie talk goes in here, whether it's a raving review or a ranting tirade. Basically, anything about movies.

noticeably more interesting, IMO, than "greatest number" is "highest percentage"—it looks like 2018 is in a 6-way tie for fourth, though all 5 tying years are 1 fresh out of 2 (i.e., low denominator) and the films that beat 2018 are two 1-film years (1982's Fast Times... and 2003's Matchstick Men) and a 2-film year (1987's Moonstruck & Raising Arizona) (i.e., also low denominators).
It's such a fine line between stupid and clever.

not to mention that 8 films were released this year for him to make it to 4 fresh. AND 2 of the 4 fresh films this year are animated (Into the Spider-verse & Teen Titans Go! to the Movies), so we're getting the benefit of his voice, and none of his crazy eyes.

also, some of the fresh films include a cameo of him, at best (e.g. Grindhouse).

At first I thought this would just be a hoot, and then I felt sort of bad, and then I thought he said some kind of insightful things, and then I felt bad again, and then I realized he’s truly serious about his craft which made me feel worse, but then he seems self-aware, but at the same time, he’s so often bad and over the top, but then....

So I’m just gonna leave this here.

Whoa, whoa, whoa. Way too many words. I was like "What?" and then I was like "Huh?" and then, uh, I got a little bored. Something about clutches? Anyway, I'll do my best. Ciao!

You misspelled "horrific".
Robin: "Gosh, Batman, is there anything you don't know?"

:green: Even with all the shitty movies you see, you can give this a miss. I expect A2 has seen it, though.

Oddly, the reviews were positive (Rotten Tomatoes score currently at 91%). That's a boatload more positive than the majority of the films he's been in lately.

I do not understand. I mean, if the score is for how Cage-y Cage is in this film, then 91% seems. reasonable
