All movie talk goes in here, whether it's a raving review or a ranting tirade. Basically, anything about movies.

Rabies \ Big Bad Wolves

#1 Post by snotball » 20 Apr 2011, 23:51

I guess it's my time to act as a plant.

This is a trailer for Israel's first Horror movie. The reason I'm posting it, is because it's getting a lot of great reviews all around (Fangoria, Slant magazine, Twitch among others), it's included in this year's Tribeca film festival and if you really want to, you can catch it online on the following dates: http://www.tribecafilm.com/filmguide/?c ... rtBy=title

Unfortunately, I missed it when it screened here, So I'll catch it online myself.

I guess I'm the only one who watched it. It was ok, not your conventional horror movie, that's for sure.

I'm loving the soundtrack, I'll give it a go, see if it plays at Frightfest over here in July
I'd be happy to kill her, she called me a fish.

Who cried when Old Yeller got shot at the end? Nobody cried when Old Yeller got shot? I cried my eyes out.
The :) means it's all ok.

In my first memories they shot Kennedy. I went numb when I learned to see

One last chance to catch it online for free on the 30th. You just need to login to the Tribeca festival site and reserve a seat for yourself.
There's a problem to watch it if you're not from the US, unless you use a proxy server (which is what I've done).

I have no idea if any of you ended up watching this movie.
In case you did and liked it, the directors' new movie, Big Bad Wolves, is about to have its world premiere in the next Tribeca film festival.

Hopefully this means it will get a wider release. It did have a single showing during the Cambridge Film Festival apparently, but I missed it.
Robin: "Gosh, Batman, is there anything you don't know?"
Batman: "Oh yes, Robin. Several things, in fact."

It should have a wider release, as I understood it was purchased for release by Metrodome and Magnet. Worst case scenario, you'll probably be able to rent it in a few months.
I was also told that the directors got a letter, which they were not allowed to reveal, in the upcoming ABC of Murder.
