The Race for Gold 2014

All movie talk goes in here, whether it's a raving review or a ranting tirade. Basically, anything about movies.

205(4)

And I think that'll do it for 2014. Not bad.

I'm not planning on seeing any more this year. I'm at 103. If you get just one more film in, you'll have double your closest competitor.

And even if you don't, it's still a phenomenal number.
Robin: "Gosh, Batman, is there anything you don't know?"
Batman: "Oh yes, Robin. Several things, in fact."

#206 was to be The Interview, but it disappeared as mysteriously as it arrived.

...and it's mystery is exceeded only by it's power.

Finished 2014 on 32, which is piss-poor, really. My Unlimited Card paid for itself but not by much and I worked out that it cost me about £6 per film.

Will try to do better next year.
Statler: Well, how do you like the film?
Waldorf: I've seen detergents leave a better film than this.

Yep, stopped updating (oops), but was at 36. From what I recall, I've seen six since: This Is Where I Leave You, The F Word, The Maze Runner, Gone Girl, The Hunger Games: Mockingjay 1, and The Hobbit: This Really Better Be the Last One. So, 42 for 2014, unless I remember anything else. And really, if I can't, does it deserve to be counted?
