FWIW, Ron is hideous looking and somewhat of a jerk. No way he ends up with Hermione.

I just saw a local hour-long production of A Very Potter Musical. They had to cut it short due to limitations with the school's production schedule, but it was totally awesome! Basically, all the important bits with none of the Triwizard Tournament stuff... And now I'm rewatching AVPM (instead of finally finishing AVPS).

Who else (besides Mazer) has watched these?

So there's a set of all 8 films on Blu-Ray.

I also know that they've been releasing special edition, director cut editions over the past couple of years.

Does anyone know if the 8 film blu-ray set is comprised of the regular versions or if they are the special ones. If they are the regular ones, does anyone know if there will be a full 8 film set of the director's cut ones?

Will the Hallows come out with a directors cut holding both parts?

A bit late, and it might be different over there. I've bought the 8 movie blu-ray set (it was only £30 here - bargain!) and it has the regular versions. There may be some extra scenes but mine looks like a bog-standard set of movies.

There was a numbered edition on sale for about £60 with a book and some other bumph in it. I went for the cheapo option as tbh I'm not that fussed about extras these days.

Waldorf: I've seen detergents leave a better film than this.

Can I just say, saw the final one the other day for the first time and... the last two Potter films were awful. Part one is them walking around in the woods for an hour and a half, and part two has them dressed up as adults in the end, or did I dream that horricly shot ending? Could have just been one 90 minute movie, maybe 120 minutes, but to stretch it out like they did was an insult, and I am just glad it is now over.

I used to teach his cousin. She brought in a copy of his head shot and I was like "whoa, who's he, he's well fit? Wait, he's not one of the sixth form, is he?".

He took her to some of the premieres in London and gave her loads of signed stuff.

Ha! I have a friend who became delighted by Matthew Lewis during the latest press tour. None of us understood how it happened that he did become quite hot somewhere along the way. We think it has to do with his teeth. Really.
