So, a trivia question came up at a bar I frequent.

Q: What 2001 movies, set in medieval times, had the following songs in the movie:

* We Will Rock You
* Low Rider
* The Boys Are Back
* You Shook Me All Night Long

Our initial thought was A Knight's Tale. The year fit and I 100% knew that We Will Rock You was in the movie. I can remember the scene. But, I couldn't remember the other 3 songs in the movie. I remember the scene with Bowie's Golden Years though. We ended up getting the answer right because we couldn't think of another movie that fit.

But, can someone describe the scenes with the other 3 songs listed?

I'm pretty sure Low Rider was when he got his first horse, but it was actually a Shetland pony.

I'm not positive, though. I haven't seen the movie.

Looks like youtube might be my friend. Low Rider played in the background when he first started training, so relatively early in the movie.

Well, looking at the format by quoting it, I now see how to imbed the clip.

Thanks. Found the Low Rider one you listed.

For Boys Are Back in Town, that's not from the movie.

Found a comment by someone:

The song is played during the closing credits of the movie A Knight's Tale starring Heath Ledger.

The reason I remember We Will Rock You and Golden Years so much is that the scene involved people doing something to the beat of the music ... ie the music was incorporated into the scene.

With Low Rider and Boys Are Back In Town, it's just background music playing.

Yeah, "The Boys Are Back" plays while all the knights are progressing into London for the final tournament.

Although I can't find a clip for this, pretty sure You Shook Me All Night Long, starts playing at the closing scene when Heath is kissing Shannyn after having routed Count DoucheWad (Rufus plays a great douche), and as the final credits start.
