I liked it. it's a period piece about a lesbian relationship that isn't a two-dimensional portrayal, but it is still set in the 1960s—a reminder of less-tolerant times. also, two-time Academy Award-winner Cate Blanchett is a good actress apparently ( ). Rooney Mara is good too. IMO, it maybe could've used losing 10 to 15 minutes, but o/w quite wd.

they are both 2015 films nominated for Oscars.

No. It's because after more than a year on a potato and poop diet, Matt Damon got really skinny.

Unless you had other plans, I would say go.

I always choose the more obscure. Captain America is gonna be here until July ... even if it sucks.

:green: I concur with The Frog's reasoning, but I'd also say that Green Room was pretty good. If you liked Blue Ruin, you'll like this. If you haven't seen Blue Ruin, see it.

I actually enjoyed. It's a monumental mess but the good bits are darn good. Some scenes seem to start halfway through, as if the beginning wasn't shot so just left out. And the music was awful. It had some great lines though and wasn't half as bad as expected. Maybe it helps seeing things after the hype.
Ben Affleck makes a damn fine Batman though and his standalone movie should be pretty awesome

Thank you Essef and Batman. Green Room was amazing. Saw it a packed theatre which always helps. Probably my film of the year so far. Will catch superheroes next week

Not Baywatch. Alien: Covenant is underwhelming. To be honest, Snatched looks pretty shit too.

Have you considered reading a book?

Are you sure there aren't other choices?

My picks, in order
1. Alien (but I've heard disappointing things)
2. Baywatch (meh, but eye candy)
3. anything else but Snatched (Schumer was funny when she competed on Last Comic Standing, but not much since)

Thanks for the input. You guys convinced me to skip the movies all together and take my kids to the water park instead. I'll catch Wonder Woman later.
