The Eliango´s Action Movies Clishe Code

#1 Post by Guest » 03 Nov 2004, 13:19

I bet that you can tell me some rules for the Eliango´s Action Movies Clishe Code:
1.- All the people can be dead at the end of the movie, but never the dog.. The dog allways survive.
2.- (I don´t know if this is normal in USA but is so funny...) In the last scene, with the ambulance and the police cars, the action heroe and the girl allways use a spread
3.- The police cup lost his wife (divorce or dead) or is going to loose her in the middle of the movie.

i'm still trying to figure out what 'use a spread' means...

like country crock?

'i'm glad that ordeal is over.'

'me too...let's get an english muffin with a low cholesterol butter substitute...'

-the end-

Dogs are indestructable. A dog can jump off a car into a closet to avoid a gigantic wall of flame and completely avoid being burned.
The :) means it's all ok.

Ooh, wait, maybe he means the wrapping up in a blanket and walking off thing.

That's not nearly as interesting as some of the other possibilities I've been thinking of.

well, the blanket wrapping would be less of a movie cliche and more of a police/emt cliche...isn't that what they do? 'you might be in shock. here's a blanket?'

I think a blanket should replace the outdated Aspirin.
"Hello, Doctor? I'm not feeling very well."
"Why don't you take a couple of blankets and call me in the morning."

The Doctor says to his patient "I'm sorry I have some very bad news. You only 5 to live"
The Patient panics "5 what? Years? Months? Surely not weeks!"
The Doctor shakes his head and continues "4, 3, 2..."
Lionel Hutz, aka Miguel Sanchez, aka Dr. Nguyen van Thoc, was paid $8 for his 32 hours of babysitting.

He was glad to get it.
