Why was everybody giving the golden globes crap about nominating The Martian Best Comedy when this was nominated too? Good god, this might be one of the most boring movies I've ever seen.

The Big Short, actually. Guess it's my own fault for expecting a Wall Street movie to be entertaining.

No kidding? I found it very far from boring. Perhaps it was more personal than I imagined. Hmmm.

Just got back from a packed cinema viewing. My cinema was giving free tickets to members so every seat taken. Great atmosphere helped and I absolutely loved it!
Christian Bale is great in this. Script actually made me give a crap.

Loved it too - and I laughed more often than I have for many "typical" comedies.

I really didn't get the hype, and since someone mentioned background lighting to me it really did get annoying

Bridge of Spies.

A friend has mentioned seeing a message on IMDB about Spielberg and how he loves the background lighting overkill. Since then it has really bugged me and I see it everywhere.
