Trilogy actors

All movie talk goes in here, whether it's a raving review or a ranting tirade. Basically, anything about movies.

(Or does that fourth Bourne movie nullify that?)

---------------

What about Gary Oldman for Batman and Harry Potter?

(Again, I'm unclear about the number of appearances needed.)

---------------

Michael Sheen for Underworld and Twilight?!?!?
He was only in 3 of 4 Underworld movies, but that's still 3 movies, though not sequential, but there were 5 Twilight movies based on only 4 books, so he sorta has some bonus points coming or something, I think, like extra Twilight credit which can be applied to Underworld.
If this were renamed something like "Multi-Series* Actors" (* where series is a sequence of movies with 3 or more films), they'd probably all be legit. Either way, all interesting examples, I'd say.

(Sheen did appear in three Twilight movies, but, arguably** the last two movies are halves of one whole.)

** a stupid argument
So Matty Damon did fit for a time before Bourne Legacy, but then was retroactively nullified. If that's the case, can we really count Harrison Ford?
Almost. There are three Star Wars films (I discount the Holiday Special as it was a TV special), so he's halfway there; I think his most likely way into the club would be if they made a third Indiana Jones film.
What about the other three Star Wars movies?

I guess that's my point. With both Bourne and Star Wars you have a set of three movies which can be viewed as a stand-alone trilogy. There just also happens to be other films in those same series.

So if we can count one of Ford's as being the original SW trilogy even though more movies were made in the series later without him, then I would thing Damon should be able to fit, too.

I don't count those, as Disney has yet to release them. Thus, there have only (so far) been three Star Wars movies.
It's such a fine line between stupid and clever.

The Expendables would've qualified Schwarzenegger if Terminator Salvation hadn't eliminated him from that one.

He does have an uncredited part in the first one, so technically he could qualify. And I see that 'The Legend of Conan' has been announced, so he'll get to be in the list at some point anyway.
Come play with us, Danny. Forever and ever and ever.
