Sorry if I'm a little out of whack here from being gone for a bit, but wasn't JP meant to end his round and TK meant to start his this weekend?

Hey...I apologize for missing my posting.

It was a bad weekend. The wife's grandfather is gravely ill...diabetic ulcers, extreme bedsores, and now MRSA on top of everything else. We were tied up pretty much all weekend with that.

My plan was to take my screenshots on a thumb drive to my mom's for uploading. I never got there. I forgot to bring in to work today my pictures for uploading. I'll give it a shot tonight from home, but if they take too long, I'll have to do it tomorrow.

Is that ok?

Great, now I feel like a major jackass for not saying "sorry" and "family first". Of course all that was implied, I hope TK knows that. So, sorry about grandpa and best wishes. Thanks guys for making me look a douche.

I think the "take your time" and "no worries" was implication enough, that's the way I read it anyway.

Having a heavy work week... Let's call this "on or about Thursday 2 Oct"...
It's fun, it's healthy, it's good exercise. The kids will just love it. and we put a little sand inside to make the experience more pleasant.

This is a perfect google example. The way YK,fK designed his quiz, there's no way the normal person would know any of the first half without looking them up (and it will still be hard) and the second half is more than likely un-googable.

I was thinking for future runnings of a HG, there should be a rule that research is always allowed. If you don't want people to get answers they don't already know, design the quiz to prevent that.

I don't think allowing research should be made into a rule, but rather to the game maker's decision. In the games I've created in the past, as in the game I've made in the Host Game it's usually possible to get most, if not all, of the answers by research (that's how I get most of my questions). I put quite an effort when I create a game, so I expect it to be some kind of a challenge for its participants, and not for their googling skills.

In my previous quizzes I've always included verbage to the effect of "Googling/IMDB use is encouraged" - I should have done that once again.
