How about we give you my slot of 1st November, and I put myself at the tail end? Does that work for you?

Daylight-saving time appears to end in the US on Sun 2 Nov 08. Assuming everything stays on the current schedule, this should only be relevant for the final round (R27).

(Also, the link in the first post for R20 actually links to R19.)

Actually, since DST ends in Europe the week before (Sun 26 Oct), it will be relevant for rounds 22, 23, and 24. Those are the only three rounds which end in that week inbetween when we've switched back from DST and you haven't. For those rounds, we just need to be careful with the deadlines, so everyone knows what ends when.

By the time my game ends, on Nov 11 or thereabouts, everyone will have switched back from DST and I will make it perfectly clear when the deadline is. In fact, as you'll se on Nov 4, keeping track of my deadline is a non-issue.

My round is ready to go.

Does anyone object to me putting it up now?

(I'll do so, thus swapping rounds with Ulkesh, if nobody posts any objections before I wake up.)

Something came up yesterday, sorry. My round can go up later today but if smithee wants to go up now, I don't mind.

Are people checking the first post of this thread for scores? Would it be helpful if I posted updates in a new post as well?

I have a suggestion for the first post (since the Rules are copied and pasted each year).
Can we make a rule that sharing answers isn't allowed but the use of IMDb/Google is up to each host?

Image
Because sharing answers is dumb.

Hey, I might ask for help from friends, but teaming up with other players is a different kind of playing altogether...
