Decided
Tomorrowland ($93M) vs. Jupiter Ascending ($47M, done) - and Tomorrowland is still earning a little.
Fifty Shades of Grey ($166M, done) vs. Ted 2 ($81M, done) - but we all picked 50 Shades anyway.

Ongoing
The Fantastic Four ($55M) vs. Ant-Man ($176M) - Looks like Ant-Man will win this one.
Terminator: Genisys ($89M) vs. Mad Max: Fury Road ($153M) - Looks like Mad Max will win this one.
Magic Mike XXL ($66M) vs. Get Hard ($90M, done) - Magic Mike has really slowed down, looks like this will go to Get Hard.
Minions ($331M) vs. the combined total ($201M) of Cinderella ($201M) and Hotel Transylvania 2 (not yet released)
- - - Could be close. Minions is still earning a couple million per week and Cinderella is almost done. The first Hotel Transylvania made $148M

Waiting for a release
Star Wars: The Force Awakens (not yet released) vs. Avengers: Age of Ultron ($458M)
Inside Out ($351M) vs. The Good Dinosaur (not yet released)
The Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part 2 (not yet released) vs. Jurassic World ($636M)
Furious 7 ($351M, done) vs. Spectre (not yet released)

Doesn't matter (we all picked Insurgent)
Insurgent ($130M, done) vs. Maze Runner: The Scorch Trials (not yet released)

I'm starting to not feel as good about my Force Awakens pick now. Not because I don't think it will ultimately outgross Age of Ultron, but because it only has six weeks to do it. Should have done a little more research on December releases even though I think this one is going to blow all the records out of the water...

Not so, Force Awakens is a December release, so the game isn't over until Force Awakens stops grossing.
Look at last year's game for reference. I don't think we officially called "game over" until Late January.

You're both right.

We'll use boxofficemojo.com's Domestic Box Office Total for each movie at the end of January 2016, so we count the box office receipts in January 2016 until boxofficemojo.com puts up the receipts for the week that includes January 28th in it.

So that is about 6 weeks for The Force Awakens.

Marksman: Domestic Box Office Gross of Mission: Impossible - Rogue Nation

Currently at $193,776,369 and it was down to earning $1,222,067 last week.

Probably going to be Dawson's (guessed $195,000,000, only $1,223,631 off).

Next closest is me (guessed $201,343,102, off by $7,566,733).

Mazer (guessed $179,000,000, off by $14,776,369) and spymeg (guessed $210,000,000, off by $16,223,631) are battling for third. Every dollar earned now hurts Mazer and helps spymeg.

Also, three movies have had their release dates pushed back and won't factor into the competition:

- Scruluce lost Jungle Book
- spymeg lost Money Monsters
- Mazer lost Resident Evil: The Final Chapter

Currently at $194,654,239 and it was down to earning only $425,651 last week.

Almost definitely going to be Dawson's (guessed $195,000,000, only $345,761 off).

Next closest is me (guessed $201,343,102, off by $6,688,863).

Spymeg (guessed $210,000,000, off by $15,345,761) has third now, as she gets closer and Mazer (guessed $179,000,000, off by $15,654,239) gets farther away.

I'm giving myself a banana for this one, plus taking a screenshot for my mum to put on the fridge plus adding it to my C.V. and LinkedIn profile

:green: Goosebumps moved him into first past me, and he still has it and The Peanuts Movie earning (I only have Peanuts left). The only movie yet to be released/has a chance to impact Step 2 is Middle's Heart of the Sea, but Dawson is currently ahead of Middle by $162M.

Dawson actually has a real good chance to sweep everything. Overall winner will probably be the closest - I'm $270M ahead of him, and he still has Star Wars, but I still have The Good Dinosaur.

I think we can wrap this up.

Pick 'em Champ

Star Wars: The Force Awakens ($742M and going strong) vs. Avengers: Age of Ultron ($459M, done)
Inside Out ($356M, done) vs. The Good Dinosaur ($114M and really slowing down)
The Fantastic Four ($56M, done) vs. Ant-Man ($180M, done)
The Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part 2 ($274M with no chance of catching up) vs. Jurassic World ($652M, done)
Furious 7 ($351M, done) vs. Spectre ($197M with no chance of catching up)
Fifty Shades of Grey ($166M, done) vs. Ted 2 ($81M, done) - but we all picked 50 Shades anyway.
Insurgent ($130M, done) vs. Maze Runner: The Scorch Trials ($81M and barely earning) - but we all picked Insurgent anyway.
Terminator: Genisys ($89M, done) vs. Mad Max: Fury Road ($153M, done)
Tomorrowland ($93M, done) vs. Jupiter Ascending ($47M, done)
Magic Mike XXL ($66M, done) vs. Get Hard ($90M, done)
Minions ($336M, done) vs. the combined total ($369M) of Cinderella ($201M, done) and Hotel Transylvania 2 ($168M, still earning a little)

1 - Dawson - 10 correct - only missed Furious 7 over Spectre.
2 - redamin - 9 correct
3 - knarf - 7 correct
4 - spymeg - 6 correct, 3rd place on tie-breaker
5 - Middle - 6 correct, 7th place on tie-breaker
6 - Scruluce - 6 correct, 8th place on tie-breaker
7 - Mazer - 5 correct, 4th place on tie-breaker
8 - Midrats - 5 correct, 6th place on tie-breaker

Congrats Dawson!

3 - redamin - $449,308,201

6 - Middle - $402,098,885
