Limerick movie game

#1 Post by Steel Frog » 03 Sep 2004, 14:49

Been meaning to do this for a while, because some of us appreciate forms of poetry other than "Haiku". This could be a big dud, or we might just have some fun because limerick verse naturally lends itself to humor.

Anyway, I'll start:

Once a guy left a gal in the rain
And got stranded when down went his plane.
Four years on that isle
Now he's back home, in style;
But he'll have to find true love again.

Er, how about both? Not that mine was anything difficult; I'm mostly trying to inspire the poets within all of us...not that it's working.

Saucers hover over cities like flies
But to one man this is no suprise,
"I've told them for years,
but they wouldn't heed my fears."
Time for big willie to take to the skies!

Hijack (I helped her pick that avatar so I'm allowed)

Spent most of my time drawing comic books.
Fell in love with a lesbian and got funny looks,
Im sure if I try,
I can make her like guys,
I'll act all sincere and see if that works.
Doot dooo do do do

He'll go to the store
When he knows that he's sure,
We're surprised he can remember his name.
Revenge is the name of his game,
