Apollo 13?
Nope, but you got the right interpretation of "men on the ground"

This is a very well known movie.

This porn star was no longer hot -
drugs got him into a bad spot.
But it went on downhill,
and some folks had to kill.
Was the big man involved, or not?

There was this one season
Fraught with murders for no reason
All he wanted was a hummer
But his guilt proved to be a bummer
And so his wife ended up leavin'.

He told them that lighting up was bad,
Which made the seven dwaves go, "egad!"
By using their violence
In trying to silence,
They ended up making him mad.

this one's kinda obvious but nevermind

The beauty of this thread is in the poetic license...the artistry of the wordplay, if you will. Anyone who attempts should be applauded for his or her effort. The "quiz" part is just a paradoxical tool (by limiting the means of expression, sometimes the imagination can widen). So, good one.

BTW Time Bandits?

Hijack:

How will they get that show to stop
Without getting nailed by that so-called "cop"
Nevermind the steady fixture
That guy staring at the picture
Or the fact they arent even here to shop.
