Time's Top Ten TV for 2005

#1 Post by You Know, for Kids » 27 Dec 2005, 21:38

Time recently named their Top 10 television shows for 2005. You know the drill...

1 Battlestar Galactica
2 the Office
3 Weeds
4 Sometimes in April
5 Project Runway
6
7 The Colbert Report
8 How I Met Your Mother
9 Prison Break
10 Everybody Hates Chris
10 My Name is Earl

(Yes, there are two tens above - they awarded a tie for the #10 spot.)

I've no idea, but I'll guess that one that was on that other list... Sometimes in April.

Right, I decided to look up the list online, and all I can say is "huh?". I've never even heard of the ones we haven't guessed so far.

Well, ok, I've heard of Weeds and How I Met Your Mother, but the other three?!

(I've never heard of Weeds... and I'm greening these for the sake of bringing this towards the conclusion...)

1
2 The Office
3 Weeds
4 Lost (or the return of Family Guy)
5 House
6
7 Colbert Report
8 How I Met Your Mother
9 Rescue Me (Should be #1)
10
10 Greys Anatomy (or the reruns of Huff)

I am not sure about the order, but these would be my guesses for top 11

Removed the ones already posted
Hooray for capsicum!

While Nunis may not have heard of the other three... two of them are fairly prominent cable TV shows. One is currently in its second season and the other is a new spin-off of a perennial emmy-award winning satirical view of current events.

The third show I've not only not heard of but the name makes it sound like it should be pretty bad.
