It's Wednesday. How about some clues for 5,7 & 8.

Here's a few Wednesday clues:

1. This character previously only appeared in black and white.

2. Nobody needs a clue for this one, do they?

3. Remake with a slightly different name, but it's the correct one for the book.

4. It's a movie about a chess player, and apparently he's young.

5. I guess you could say the location is a lot like Petticoat Junction... except for the cannibalism.

7. A guy dressed like that in a psychiatrists office? No big surprise.

8. The backdrop looks like a cheesy TV set. How apropos.

Now, how's about someone throws a bone to old Batman for #6?

6. It's an invisible from the vault, but it used a different title that time. This time they want the 2-word changed title.

The guy sitting on the street is typically a supporting actor. In fact, his best role is one in which he played a supporting actor. Supporting actor/struggling magician.

The guy standing might be there to collect a fine for an overdue library book.

Now 8/8. I got it from Kramer's library clue. Maybe his user-name was subliminally pointing me in the right direction.

I've seen this movie under it's two-word name. Good flick.

It would have been more appropriate in the slot below where it currently resides.

A good clue if you already know the answer. Put it together with the above clues and you may see the answer.

After getting twacked by the clue-by-four on #6, I'm now at 7/8. But, still stuck on #7 despite Batman's clue. Does anyone have a good Thursday clue for 7? Thanks in advance!

Do women really like guys dressed like that? Apparently, by the hundreds. Or has he had thousands?

Another couple of clues for Thursday:

#1: If you can figure out what kind of guy has a penchant for canes and bowler hats you've made an excellent start at solving this Invisible.

#8: Seargent (sic) York was a dick.

Please help me...

This time this invisible
Is too hard to understand
And the clues I've read don't help
Me to focus
On the right solution...

#1: He made 35 films his first year then slowed down and only made 14 the next year.

#5 (not 4): Sautee some of those inexperienced vegetables, er... I mean fruit, please.

#8: So bothered and bewildered am I that I'll sing to her, bring spring to her,and long for the day when I'll cling to her.

Edit: This error probably really screwed up a lot of you. Sorry.

Haven't done the invisibles for a while, think I'll give it a whirl.
Good clues.

For the life of me I still can't get 5. Any blatant, and obvious clues will help. Thanks!
