Spoiler for Killer
Olmos's character is not a real person, like Dexter's father. What confirmed that theory for me was in the restaurant scene where only Colin Hank's side of the table is set.

Spoiler
I hadn't even considered that! It makes perfect sense though, as Olmos' character "disappeared" about 3 years prior to the episode. So then was Colin Hanks continuing the website Olmos' character began, or perhaps Hanks' character forged the whole thing as Olmos.

Spoiler
I had thought that since the first episode... he never is there when Hanks is with someone else... and he always makes Hanks do everything. I didn't even think they were trying to fool us too much about it. I guess I really AM a super genius! :mishchief:

But he was in the restaurant with him and with the girl he killed last episode.

Wouldn't the pieces of paper from the Bible be double-sided with consecutive page numbers?

see? writer's get so caught up in their storytelling that they overlook the simplest of details. this could be dismissed more easily if all the numbers cut out were odd or even, but since they are both... oops.

Well, let's see...Harry is gone and Brian is helping Dexter. Trinity's son seems to be picking up where Trinity left off...

Yeah! What he said!

I'm wondering if Brian is taking over for Harry (after the whole Brother Sam incident).

technically all of that, except for the little cliff hanger episode ender, is all in next week's episode. definitely a WTF moment, though.

I thought the ending was fantastic. Dexter took a turn—he attempted to forgive, but couldn't handle the punk ass laughing in his face and the dark passenger had become more fully formed. Harry is gone (for good?) and his brother is there as a horrible influence. I wonder if Dexter is going to do something he'll truly regret and if Harrison is safe any more...

True. My head did a 180 as soon as I heard the magic words "Trinity is back." It was especially weird because the actor who play Trinity's son Jonah (Brando Eaton) was just on American Horror Story (I needed to check IMDb to confirm) and they do not list this season of "Dexter" in his credits. Ditto with Vanessa Marano (Trinity's daughter Rebecca)...she was recently on CSI.

Anyway...as for this week: I got all teary-eyed when Brother Sam died. Poor fucking Dex can't ever have any friends.
And, yeah, seeing Brian on the beach fucked with my head big time.

I'm busting to see the next episode.

:green:
Except, I don't think Harrison would ever be in danger. I still think Dexter has a "light" in him...but we'll see. He's acting very weird (even for a serial killer  ) and he's being sloppy...I'm wondering if there will be a Season 7.

Sorry, it is in the preview for next week and I kind of guessed at it.
Spoiler
Deb says Trinity is back and that his wife and daughter had been murdered in signature style. (You see the daughter in a blood filled bathtub) and then you see Trinity's son working at a store. He walks up to Dexter and says, "Hello, Dexter Morgan." We can't remember if Jonah found out who Dexter was during the show or sometime after we last saw him but the way he says it makes you think he wants to rattle Dexter that he knows. And since we know Dexter killed Trinity, it can't be him that killed Jonah's mother and sister.

Ok, so...I have a question (and so I don't spoil anything)...

Spoiler
Is Geller fucking dead or not??? And on what evidence do you base your answer? I'm 95% sure he's dead and was possibly killed by Travis himself.

Second question...

Spoiler
Why the fuck do I have to put a spoiler tag on this, when the fucking thread is called "Dexter" (spoilers)?????

Considering your first question was answered in the last episode, I'll answer the second one.
You don't have to and no one told you to. By the way, I did the same thing a month ago after reading a theory that Geller isn't a real person, because I didn't want to ruin the surprise, for other people, in case it turns out to be right.

I like that they tried to play with the audience over Geller's corporeal state, but clearly we had it figured out early on. It's kind of a shame though. It would've been cool to see two on Dexter's table at the same time (even though that wasn't his plan).

Actually, I was starting to doubt that theory, especially after he chained himself.

He's done that already. Last time was on the first episode of this season.

It's when he pretends to be unconscious, waiting for the ambulane attendants he then drugs.
He did another double kill in the first season where he killed a couple, while a kid saw him do it.

I've been under the impression Geller was Travis' own dark passenger for quite some time now and, while it was great to finally get that confirmed last episode, the ending was disappointing. I'm sure for people who hadn't noticed Gellar never spoke to anyone else, did anything else or changed clothes, the ending was a big twist, but I can't wait to see how Dexter gets out of this one.
