Can't comedian/enne status be revoked if said person has never made any other person laugh?

Sorry, my bad. But I swear, I only laughed once.

She was a horrid waste of space and time when she guest judged So You Think You Can Dance.

Although I guess that would still be an improvement on Paula.

I found myself tonight lamenting Paula's absence. Paula was useless, but harmless. And everyone knew she sucked, which was part of the charm. Whereas there are still creatures out there who seek out the counsel of Ellen.

I was thinking tonight that next year with Paula and Simon gone that Randy will be the senior member of the judging staff. Simon is kind of the leader now. Will his replacement carry that kind of weight or will we see some kind of power struggle between the judges for top status?

I'm thinking we'll see a canceled American Idol, but that's just me.

What network will pick up X-Factor? That's the one that'll take over

Fox also has the option on "X-Factor". Chances are they'll treat it like they do over here in the UK on ITV2 - "American Idol" in the spring, "X-Factor" in the autumn.
Robin: "Gosh, Batman, is there anything you don't know?"
Batman: "Oh yes, Robin. Several things, in fact."

I meant that it might last a couple more seasons, tops, but I don't see it lasting much longer than that.

How is X-Factor different from America's Got Talent? I've never watched either program, so I really have no idea.

X-Factor is just pop idol, it's singing.
.... got Talent could be juggling, dancing, any of that 'entertainment'

I'm actually watching this season. First time. I think I have enough info to cut 7 or 8 girls and 7 guys at this point. Typically, would ones mind be changed week to week? 'Cause I could just stop watching until they get to the top 4.

You may may come back to 4 that you thought would be cut ...

This group seems like the weakest I have ever seen. I've never not had a favorite by now. I don't yet see a star in the bunch

I wish they would do away with the group numbers. You can tell they are lip synching, and the "choreography" is a joke.

Even the weakest American Idol is better than the best British X Factor...

I don't even watch the results show. They are aired here a day late, so I can find out who was voted off on the internet before the episode comes on. And, there is absolutely nothing else of value on the results show.
