alan smithee wrote:"A guy crying about a chicken and a baby? I thought this was a comedy show." fell incredibly flat. I blame the writing and the Alda.

:green: So poorly written and delivered, I almost didn't catch it.

I'm actually a bit surprised that that didn't happen — that would've been hilarious.

Didn't catch it at all (probably because I never saw GF&A) but agree that it could have been written/delivered better.

Re-watched season 4, have to say Michael sheens 'Wesley Snipes' has to be possibly my favourite tv cameo in recent times

During the latter, I was thinking less about Al and more about how much fun William must be having imitating his brother.

That was easily the best of the season by a long shot.

Would have liked to have seen Billy's card printed with his actual name, though.
It's fun, it's healthy, it's good exercise. The kids will just love it. and we put a little sand inside to make the experience more pleasant.

The second live episode was pretty good, even the east coast got a cameo from Paul McCartney, while us west coasters got a cameo from... (shudder) Kim Kardashian.

Still loved seeing Amy Poehler and Jimmy Fallon play younger Liz and Jack.

Local channel started another set of repeats from the beginning, so I've finally started watching. A little slow to start, but I'm enjoying it, and it's definitely improving after 10 episodes or so.

I'm catching up on the last couple of episodes of 30 Rock. This episode, The Queen of Jordan 2: The Mystery of the Phantom Pooper, is so awful it makes me never want to watch another episode of this show again. Fuck this is worse than a shit sundae. Is this what all those real housewife shows are like? I'm so pissed at how terrible this is. This is typically a dependable show. Why would they fuck with the format so royally?

Yeah, I think this is concept gone bad -- like the claymation episode of Community. Nice try/lousy payoff. I'm willing to see 30rock again, but Tracy's and Jenna's extended family members are still the weakest parts of the show.
