I am having a big problem with this season. Sure I'm enjoying the fact that they are so established that they can have fun often, but maybe it is a bit too much fun. I hope they go a bit more dark for the last few episodes.

And this war in heaven needs a few more details. Always teasing it, but with so very few details, makes me not care about it so much.

But it is great news that it has been renewed for another season

I wasn't too keen on all the different storylines this season, but I think they all tied together pretty nicely in this finale...

I came to this thread to find out if there was news about a Season 7... Glad to hear it was picked up!

I've got one disc left to finish season 3. I'm liking it quite a bit now.

I'm in season 3 as well. Great so far (Sam just shot the Crossroads demon). Really curious what will happen next.

I just finished season 5 but it looks like I will have to wait to catch 6 and get caught up.

Or just stop there. 5 was very satisfying and to the point.

6, although enjoyable, and with some very good episodes, lacked the big picture plot that kept us going for 5 years

I saw only the first episode of season 6, and decided it wasn't the same thing. Stopping at 5 is perfect.

I'm hoping whoever took over the reigns has another 5 year plan in place, otherwise it's all downhill. 6 had some heartfelt struggles for Dean, and half-Sam was kinda drawn out. Really hoping 7 steps things up (since I don't have anymore Smallville to fall back on).

Its hard to imagine them trying to battle anything with bigger stakes than the devil and the end of the world

Season 6 is nowhere near the exploits of earlier stuff, but I'm recording tonights episode with Robert Englund cameoing so looking forward to that when I get in. It's still one of my top shows

Sooo is Castiel gone for good? Probably not, but the fact is that he's billed as a 'special guest star', we won't be seeing much of him?

Probably the case, kinda like the actor that played Lucifer was a special guest star. He'll be discussed, but will only show up in pivotal story arc episodes.

I don't think he married her, but however that love connection happened, it happened in the 12 months between season 5 end and season 6 start. you didn't miss anything.

A quick google search will show that they are in fact married in real life.
