no blame to Scruluce for this, should have finished years ago (glad it didnt and looking forward to season 5)
I'd be happy to kill her, she called me a fish.

Someone else broke the news much earlier, but I think it's safe to add The Firm to my list as the first casualty of 2012.

You've already got it. I've been watching that one since the beginning.

It's only 8 episodes... and half have already aired.
I kinda like it too... but it's ratings means it will probably only be this one season.
And I am OK with that.

They better cancel this turd. They had this gimmick going where they showed a glimpse of the future at the start and end of each episode, counting down to six weeks after the pilot episode. This last week was week 6. At the end of this episode, that had no real flash-forward, they do just that. The gimmick has been recycled for another 6+ weeks ahead. I'm really hoping it dies prior to reaching that milestone.

updated for Terra Nova (2011 - though technically cancelled in 2012, only aired episodes in 2011), and The Firm – my first casualty of 2012

Not sure about Terra Nova yet, they are trying to sell it to other networks... SyFy could buy it, so expect C Thomas Howell in season 2

Should that happen, I will gladly remove it from the list (or maybe amend it) and keep watching :)

The Firm (not announced, but stuck in a Saturday evening time slot)
Prime Suspect (I really liked Maria Bello in this)

I'd say I've killed the river, but that doesn't look like it was designed to go past this season.

not seen them so im safe. I think id let you kill off Grimm, if it wasn't for the outstanding Eddie Monroe (Silas Weir Mitchell) this would be completely unwatchable for me

Grimm has already been given a season 2

I never got into Prime Suspect... and I stopped watching The Firm when it was moved to Saturdays.

The River most likely won't be back... but towards the end I started to really get into it. I won't miss it... but I wouldn't mind it coming back either.

I guess Supernatural season 1 wasn't really a hoot aminute so Grimm season 2 could work

Awake
Even though I couldn't see how the premise of this show can hold for too long, I like this show and would really be pissed if it's gone and the saccharinicTouch stays.

Sad about Awake and Ringer. Checked some of the other info at that site - surprised that Smash was renewed, I'd been hearing the buzz wasn't good. Oh well, I'm happy about that.

No official word yet on Missing or Unforgettable. EW and TV by the Numbers agree on Missing, but disagree on Unforgettable, with EW being the more optimistic.
