Episodes

#1 Post by Batman » 05 Feb 2011, 16:49

Episodes is a new sitcom on BBC 2. Episode 5 airs on Monday. I wasn't really sure about it after just the first episode, but overall it's been pretty good. Matt LeBlanc as Matt LeBlanc is really the only stand-out member of the cast, though that may change as the characters develop.

Trailer is below:

Robin: "Gosh, Batman, is there anything you don't know?"
Batman: "Oh yes, Robin. Several things, in fact."

Yikes. Watching the Friends age is depressing.

:green: (Except replace "BBC 2" with "Showtime" and "Monday" with "Sunday.")
It's such a fine line between stupid and clever.

It's weird hearing Matt Le Blanc say 'fuck' and surprisingly funny to hear him be an arse.
I'd be happy to kill her, she called me a fish.

I just finished watching the last episode of series 1. Overall the series was pretty good. I'll definitely be watching series 2.

In waiting for an American remake.

(Also: has this been picked up for a second season?)

Unknown. Tamsin Greig was on the radio program Five Live yesterday, but I didn't hear them say whether there was going to be another series.

Is anyone watching the second season?
I just watched the third episode with the funeral. The gravestone has an inscription in Hebrew, that aside from seeming like someone translated it from English using Google Translate, it's written in mirror vision.

Yeah, I'm watching it. I think I just saw the fourth episode on Friday. It's the one where they decide they need to use the boys more and Matt LeBlanc less. Hilarity ensues.

Well, maybe not hilarity, but I'm still enjoying it.

It's been on in the UK for about 6 or 7 weeks. I think there's only a couple of episodes left in this season.

I started re-watching Green Wing after Episodes gave me the need for more Mangan and Greig
