Also, is Gendry now the only actual Baratheon left alive in the Seven Kingdoms?
I think he may be. I'm pretty sure Renly didn't have any children.
Where the f is gentry now? Still rowing?

I am sure there are some other of Robert's bastard kids running around the seven kingdoms. They got all the ones at King's Landing, but there are probably some at every place he ever stopped for a night.....

When did Stanis lose his left hand?

First episode was truly awesome... need it to be next week already.

Did anyone else think there was a bit of a lighter tone, more jokes in the episode? It was good they showed all the characters as they could have just fixed on one and not really moved anything forwards until the 3rd or 4th episode

I really enjoyed it, though I was somewhat disappointed with the lack of progression in regards to Jon Snow. I've been thinking about what may happen and I think it will be like this:

Jon Snow is resurrected by Melisandre as Thoros did with Beric Dondarrion. No big surprise there.

Eddison makes it to the Free Folk / Wildlings and they come back to clash with the crows over Jon's "death". Jon kills Ser Alliser Thorne.

Jon Snow is released from the Night's Watch on a technicality: "Night gathers, and now my watch begins. It shall not end until my death." Congratulations, Jon. Your oath has been honorably served. You're now free to go beat the shit out of the Boltons at Winterfell.

Melisandre's prophecy of seeing Jon fighting at Winterfell is met.
Robin: "Gosh, Batman, is there anything you don't know?"
Batman: "Oh yes, Robin. Several things, in fact."

Did you see the youtube thing I posted a few up, it has a pretty good idea about Jon Snow.

It was never going to be settled early though, will probably happen just before a mid season break

I didn't watch that previously as it was in a mobile phone format.

I had recently rewatched the episode with Maester Aemon, Sam and Jon and noted the same kind of thing. Jon enters the room right after he says, "Imagine how terrible that must be to be a Targaryen alone in the world" or words to that effect.
Robin: "Gosh, Batman, is there anything you don't know?"
Batman: "Oh yes, Robin. Several things, in fact."

Yeah. It's definitely getting interesting. Can already picture certain upcoming dragon riding scenes of possibility in my head

Loved episode 2 but thought was a bit of a let down how he just woke up. I expected him walking out of the fire already on a dragon lol
Good to see they didn't drag it on over 6-7 episodes!

So who do you think is going to be delivered to Ramsay Bolton in the next episode? I guess there's a good chance that it's Theon/Reek, but we haven't seen Osha and Rickon in quite a while. Weren't they going to one of the Stark's bannermen? A reference to GoT Wiki says they were going to The Last Hearth, the northernmost castle in the North held by Greatjon Umber.

Whoever it is, it should be interesting. I'm pretty sure Ramsay won't hold Winterfell if Jon Snow shows up with a giant on his side.

I really hope it isn't Reek, I think he's been through enough and deserves a nice cup of tea. Osha is a great shout, she needs to get back in the story.

Seeing Jon show up with a giant and an army will be awesome in all kinds of ways and when he meets back up with Sansa it'll be cute
