Amazing episode. It was Saving Private Ryan meets LotR. Gonna me the bastard though... Can the big bad get any badder?
I'd be happy to kill her, she called me a fish.

Maybe not as much mustache twirling, but the Night's King looks primed to be even more dangerous.
Never forget what you are. The rest of the world will not. Wear it like armor, and it can never be used to hurt you.

So, whom of the favorites (or less so) are going down next week? IMHO Theon and Grey Worm are all but certain to die (and a whole lot of others). Any others high on your lists?

I don't think the Hound will go out yet. I think he still needs to kill the Mountain.

Maybe Grey Worm, as he is already making plans for after they defeat the Night King and Cersei and take back the Iron Throne.

It might also be Jorah's time. Seem's unlikely as he now has a Valerian steel sword.

I think the most amazing thing would be if Gendry pops up with chlamydia. We all know where he got that.

Sadly, I think Brienne might go too. Knighthood may have wrapped up her journey.

I actually think Brienne will survive, because Tormund will save her. She is required for further redemption of Jamie.

To be exact, Tormund will (unfortunately) be killed in the process. And be aware that both Brienne and Jamie have both parts of the same Valarian steel swords right now, reforged from Ice. This has got to count for something.

I don't think Bran makes it out alive.

I also think that someone sacrifices themselves for Brienne this week, but I think it's going to be Pod.

And fair bet that the crypts will end up being *gasp* NOT the safest place at Winterfell.

I could see Sam sacrificing himself for Gilly or Little Sam, but at the same time, I think he's going to have to write down the history of men or something in order to save the world because I think Bran dies.

Fairly certain Sam will survive as well.

I'm not sure whether I am happy with ep8.3. Yes, the action was awesome (even though I could hardly see half of it). Yes, it had some extremely satifying moments. Yes, they killed off some major characters. And yet, the lingering feeling remains that it was a copout. All the major, major characters are still alive. Even some sub-major characters (b-list) are still alive that absolutely shouldn't be. Pod, Grey Worm, Thormund (and probably a few more) all should have had their moments of glory this episode and not be part of this world anymore. Was Arya the absolute boss here, killing the Night King? Yes, that was satisfying as fuck. But in the end, the entire battle of living vs dead felt inconsequential. I think the showwriters dropped some major balls here.
And now where do we go? There are still two dragons left, but the Dothraki badasses were all killed in 20 seconds. As were most of the unsullied (at least I think). As were the Knights of the Vale (at least I think). Who are now actually left to battle the Golden Company and Cercei? And does that even matter anymore? Do we still need Cercei and Euron to be killed dead? Sure, but it somehow feels like an afterthought now that we've already battled death itself.
Come play with us, Danny. Forever and ever and ever.

I think I'm more disappointed than you are. The darkness/snowstorm annoyed me to no end, and regarding the survivors, it was absolutely a copout. This was perfectly shown in the scene where there were only 3 survivors in one area - and it was Brienne, Jaime, and Podrick.

Arya, Lady Mormont, and to a lesser extent Theon were the only high points - maybe that's because I could actually see what happened.
