That's funny. That's also the method Richard came up with when he redesigned his compression algorithm.

Ah! That's where his inspiration came from.

So to speak.

I like Ehrlich's question to the female reporter after TechCrunch: “Do you know how long it would take you to jerk off every guy in this room? Because I do.”

there's a crazy theory that Jared is one of the clones from The Boys from Brazil.

First there was the speaking german in his sleep, and then quoting Hitler without realizing in another episode. And now, the season finale had him confessing that he always wanted to be part of a suicide pact.

God, I love this show.

Opening scene getting Jared to 'empty the bong' and you know it's all good

Love this show. I'm thinking about starting over from the beginning, just because.

What are you watching this on? I didn't think Season 3 started in the UK until 10 May.

Oh...erm...Silicon Valley isn't on NetFlix, Amazon, or my tv licence fee or on Virgin (my cable provider)

I had to share this post from Facebook (by a local business owner, incidentally also running for the office of mayor here in town):

Quote:
Watching Silicon Valley with my son. It's a show about a tech startup. I don't usually watch it with him but he happened to walk through the room. The CEO of the company is watching while his thoroughbred is copulating with an award winning stallion. This, of course, includes 30 seconds of the stallion swinging around and slapping the haunches of the thoroughbred with a 2 ft horse wang. I am assuming that it is an allegory about what is happening in the show where a thoroughbred engineer is getting screwed by the award winning CEO.

Son: (eyes popping out of his head) : Dad, what is that horse doing to that other horse?
Me: Its the circle of life son.
Son: I knew you would say something like that. But what are they doing?
Me: Making a pony
Son: It takes two horses to make a pony?
Me: Usually.
Son: I feel bad for the horse on the bottom.
Me: (thinking "what to say, what to say?!?") Yeah, me too. Get ready for school.
Son: OK...hey dad?
Me: Yeah?
Son: Is that how you and mom made us?
Me: No, I don't see any sangria.
Son: What?
Me: Its time for school.

The company I work for recently had one of our founders leave after a contract dispute. For the last year or two, he's been head of the company in name only, and has had very little actual involvement with day-to-day, so the Gavin Belson board meeting hit pretty close to home. And I loved every minute of it!

I loved watching him get the same general treatment that he'd been giving and condoning.
