I meant to start a new thread about current TV shows... that didn't already have a active thread about them...

So I thought it would be nice to link to those active threads... just to make things a bit easier...

Next thing I know... the freaking OCD took over and this is what I ended up with. :o

This is only for threads in the Open Ended forum... I was able to stop myself from looking elsewhere... THANK GOD!!!

But if you know of a thread that you think should be here... link to it and I will update the first post.

Back to the original reason I started this thread.

Three new late season shows started in the past month...

Grey's Anatomy
Ellen Pompeo .... Dr. Meredith Grey
Patrick Dempsey .... Dr. Derek Shepherd
James Pickens Jr. .... Dr. Richard Webber
T.R. Knight .... Dr. George O'Malley
Sandra Oh .... Dr. Christina Yang
Katherine Heigl .... Dr. Isobel "Izzie" Stevens
Chandra Wilson .... Dr. Miranda Bailey
Isaiah Washington .... Dr. Preston Burke

About Surgical Interns learning the ropes in a Seattle Hospital.
I thought this was going to be a kinder genter version of ER... and in a way it is... but it's got a bit of Scrubs mixed in. I was surprised how often you get a laugh out of this... sure it starts with a question and ends in a life lesson format... but the bits in between are very good.
As you can see it has a great cast....
Ellen Pompeo (I remember her best as Mitch's Girlfriend in Old School) is exceedingly cute... so is Katherine Heigl... Patrick Dempsey is very funny and well cast in his role... Sandra Oh is fittingly bitchy.
Most of the supporting cast you have seen before and they have great acting chops...
So far I think it's going to be a good show. I really like it.

Eyes
Timothy Daly .... Harlan Judd
Garcelle Beauvais .... Nora Gage (as Garcelle Beauvais-Nilon)
A.J. Langer .... Meg Bardo
Laura Leighton .... Leslie Town
Eric Mabius .... Jeff McCann
Rick Worthy .... Chris Didion
Natalie Zea .... Trish Agermeyer

About a expensive, high tech, and practically bankrupt private dectective agency in LA.
Tim Daly has always been good... and this show (so far) has been pretty decent. The supporting cast is mostly relative unknowns... with a few faces you will recognize... Nifty gadgets galore... and funny hijinks and capers ensue... worth taking a look.

Blind Justice
Ron Eldard .... Detective Jim Dunbar
Marisol Nichols .... Detective Karen Bettancourt
Rena Sofer .... Christie Dunbar
Reno Wilson .... Detective Tom Selway
Frank Grillo .... Detective Marty Russo
Michael Gaston .... Lt. Gary Fisk

About a cop blinded in the line of duty, who manages to get his job back.
If it wasn't for Ron Eldard and Rena Sofer I don't think I would have started watching this. First of all... how far can they stretch this gimmick? But... I thought the same thing about 24. So far the stories have been decent... you believe Eldard for the most part... some good conflicts with the characters to drive the story along... but who knows how long it will last?
Worth a look if you like the genra and the cast... otherwise you can will find better cop shows elsewhere.

I'm so proud of you, Todd. That was the most useful post you've made in months!

Seriously, well done. Might come in handy as a reference.

As for the new shows, I've only checked out Grey's Anatomy, and it's not bad. I still prefer House though.

Great work on the list.

And as far as the three show you listed. I am watching Eyes, and so far it is pretty good. It's good to see Tim Daly weekly again.

The other two I've skiped. I was going to watch Grey's Anatomy, but I figured I already had too many doctor shows, but now I might give it a chance.

And I liked the other show better when I was reading it in my Daredevil Comics.

Great job there, Todd, but couldn't the OCD also tell you to stickify it?
Anyway, it's fixed.

Great timing too... this weeks episode is the one where Katherine Heigl gets so pissed off at people for making fun of her becasue she paid her way though college as an underwear model... that she strips down in a IS THIS WHAT YOU WANT!? fashion...

Well, realizing you've got a problem is the first step, so congrats on that at least.

Even though this is an INDEX, I don't feel like making a thread for Minding the Store, but I will admit I am excited to see the first episode. I heard an interview with Shore about his new show, I think he can be funny, I like the "Money back Guarantee" promotion he started riffing off the Cinderella Man strategy... I really wish I would have checked out Pauly Shore is Dead, because if that movie was good, then his show might be good. I'm giving him a chance, or at least getting a dollar :-)

Didn't know where else to put this.

Interesting and humorous Salon article about how all leading men of cop dramas are single, and not looking.

TV's leading men need to get laid
