Love that show.

I came to the Archer love late, but it stuck. Archer is my fallback for pretty much anything these days. It is on whenever I cook. It is on whenever I'm out of things to do. Pam Poovey might just be my fav TV character of all time.

Binge watched Flaked. 8 part dramedy on Netflix. Absolute genius show and possibly the best soundtrack on to in a long time.
And dibs

I just don't get Comedy Bang Bang.
Weird Al has stepped in as the new "Band Leader". I watched all of the first episode, then about half of the second. I'm not amused, not even a little bit. That kinda makes me sad, because I really want to like it, just for Weird Al, but I don't.

If the first season didn't grab you then probably no point. I thought it was really clever and seeing Kristen Bell swear and screw like a trooper is new to me. Plus Don Cheadle is just epically cool.

CBB is one of those shows where you have to watch more than one episodes to really get it. If you like podcasts, CBB was originally a podcast, maybe try that?

Anyone watching 'The Expanse' here? I've just started it, and it's pretty awesome so far.

Anyone watching Outcast? I recorded the whole series. I finished 3 or 4 episodes. I'm on the fence about finishing it. My patience is starting to wear pretty thin regarding the mysteries of the show.

Just finished two seasons of Angie Tribeca. If you're a fan of The Naked Gun/Police Squad! I recommend it.

I watched like 5 eps and then set it aside (but didn't delete it). felt to me like—as you say—it's in the vein Police Squad! (etc.), though it felt a bit ersatz to me. perhaps time to return and enjoy what I can have

I agree that it's not at the same level, but felt it was worthwhile.

I didn't much pay attention to Twin Peaks when it first came out so I have been catching up through Netflix. The first season was good, lots of quirky characters and stuff. I am half way through the second episode of the second season. They jump so far over the shark they are in orbit, and this is only the second episode. It has become a very bad parody of itself. Does it get any better or is this why it didn't last longer? I thought it was cancelled after Laura's murderer was caught. Is the movie worth a watch? Not that the third season is on Showtime I saw something about David Lynch amping it up. Does that mean it will be even more out there? I'm not sure if I can make it through season 2.

I'm further behind than you are. I've never watched the show. I've thought about watching, but haven't been bored enough, or without other options.

Just watched the last episode of Me, Myself and I - CBS pulled it mid-season and burned off the last 7 this summer.

I thought it had an interesting format, and it was sweet and well executed. Luckily it wrapped things up pretty well in all 3 timelines.

Worth a watch, and it probably deserved better ratings.

The Hollywood Reporter broke the news that Patrick Stewart will return as Jean-Luc Picard!
Stewart signed on to the new Star Trek series for CBS All Access and released the following statement.

Statement from Patrick Stewart:

"I will always be very proud to have been a part of Star Trek: The Next Generation, but when we wrapped that final movie in the spring of 2002, I truly felt my time with Star Trek had run its natural course. It is, therefore, an unexpected but delightful surprise to find myself excited and invigorated to be returning to Jean-Luc Picard and to explore new dimensions within him. Seeking out a new life for him, when I thought that life was over."

"During these past years, it has been humbling to hear stories about how The Next Generation brought people comfort, saw them through difficult periods in their lives or how the example of Jean-Luc inspired so many to follow in his footsteps, pursuing science, exploration, and leadership. I feel I'm ready to return to him for the same reason – to research and experience what comforting and reforming light he might shine on these often very dark times. I look forward to working with our brilliant creative team as we endeavor to bring a fresh, unexpected and pertinent story to life once more."

The new show is said not to be a reboot of "Star Trek The Next Generation" it will, however, be a continuation of Picard's life.

If you enjoy horror movies, I can't recommend the Eli Roth History of Horror show on AMC highly enough. The only thing keeping it from being perfect is that there isn't enough of it. I love it so much.
