Just finished season 3 of BSG. It's nice that I missed it when it came out as now I don't have a clue how it will end, so I won't post in here til I finished in case I read something I shouldn't

The final Cylon is the sled Adama had as a child. Oh, wait, should I have spoiler tagged that?

So I brought Season 4 of BSG, finished it... now I need part 2 of Season 4!!! AGGG

Nowhere on the one I got did it say part 1 of Season 4... so now I've spent £80, another £20 to go, could have got the boxset for £70!

Still loving it though.

I think they went with season 4.0 and season 4.5.

I don't want to read this thread and see any spoilers, but why they hell do they cut all the corners off their paper? It doesn't make any sense?

No special reason. Just another prop for the era...

The reason I heard:
Quote:
Paper (and photos, books, and even picture frames) in the series have corners cut off. It is said that director Michael Rymer did this during the miniseries as a reference to how he had to "cut corners" financially to make the miniseries work on a limited budget. The practice was continued into the series, although the producers have said on numerous occasions that although it seemed like a "neat idea at the time", having to cut the corners off every document seen onscreen became a nuisance for the weekly series.

The first promo for Galactica: Blood and Chrome. It's the new prequel that features a yound Adama fighting in the 1st Cylon war.

It was pretty cool to see, with the original Cylon fighters, Vipers that looked more like the original series...

As I understand it, they'll have a 90 min. movie to launch it, and then it will be a Web Series. If the promo was any indication, it could be very, very good.

I have decided to re-watch BSG... 2 questions though (yes I have seen it before)

Why is the 2 part miniseries not part of the box sets if the 1st episode of the boxset says previously...

And why do I have 5 seasons where IMDB shows only 4?

It's been a while since I last watched so confuddled. I did catch the miniseries again a few days ago on tv on demand, so I'm good to go again.

My season 1: Disk 1 contains the miniseries. Season 4.5 includes Razor. The Plan is not included though so I had to get it separate.

It ran with split seasons. My collection says, Season 1, 2.0, 2.5, 3, 4.0, 4.5. Season 4.5 was delayed by the writer's strike so maybe some people consider it a fifth season, since the gap between 4.0 and 4.5 was so long.

Cool, I don't own the mini series, but like I said it was on tv on demand... and it was a great show. Remeber having arguaments about the ending, but what show in recnt years has had an ending everyone liked? Probably nothing since Blakes 7 (if anyone has ever heard of that!) (edit: UK Life on Mars had a great ending, but I'm struggling to think of ones that are generally liked. I loved the Lost ending but im in the massive minority there)

Also, since watching this again, and now that Sela made me hotdog, I have realised what an awesome character he is.

Actually, virtually every character is selfish, barr Hotdog and Helo. They are the only 2 who have no agenda but good, that's what I've seen so far.

Yeah, Helo is a class act, I'm glad Sela saw fit to cast me. No offense, Hotdog was good too, but you know...

Helo wins it hands down, but Hotdog is kind of the wedge of BSG. no star part, but essential to the movie. Sela definately earned his money on that recast

Yeah! I ... still don't know who any of these people are. Waiting for my girl to get into the "sci" part of sci-fi; she's currently on "Supernatural".
