"Word Up" is not the worst song ever recorded.

The Smash Hits! channel on Sky seems to be having a theme of crap songs this afternoon, and currently that dreadful "Blue" song is playing.

That is surely one of the worst songs ever, although the video is probably worth watching just for sheer comedy value.
Statler: Well, how do you like the film?
Waldorf: I've seen detergents leave a better film than this.

Blue is still sore Billy Mack beat them out for the Christmas single a few years ago.
The :) means it's all ok.

Never heard the actual song (actually never heard of the song) before karaoke Friday night... but it was pretty horrible
Yeah, but the song is meant to be horrible, so that doesn't really count (it even has a disclaimer at the end of the song!)
Come play with us, Danny. Forever and ever and ever.

I used to date a guy (for 2 years!) who thought that Cher song was the dogs bollocks. Kinda glad we split up now (and he was Dutch).

Robin: "Gosh, Batman, is there anything you don't know?"
Batman: "Oh yes, Robin. Several things, in fact."

Fwiw, I think she meant Blue by Eiffel 65, not the 'band' Blue (although they were mainly dreadful as well).
Lionel Hutz, aka Miguel Sanchez, aka Dr. Nguyen van Thoc, was paid $8 for his 32 hours of babysitting.

He was glad to get it.
