Yup. The rest of us are snickering and seeing what else we can get stuck in your head for fun.

Oops, I did it again...

Cab into work this morning was playing the effing ShoopShoop song, now it's in my head all day, and people at work heard me humming it, it's gonna be a long day

I always loved how blunt the title of the two really popular versions of this song is: "The Shoop Shoop Song (It's in His Kiss)" (the first release of the song was as simply "It's in His Kiss"). It's totally Google-friendly—umm, perfect for 1964 (I imagine someone thinking, "What's that song where that chick goes 'shoop shoop' a lot?" followed by them Googling "the shoop shoop song.") The Cher version is certainly annoying, but I do like the Betty Everett version:

(It is, of course, also quite catchy.)

And like that, its back in my head for the day again, it's too catchy, it's pop-crack

Really? That's the song you were talking about? LOL I thought I'd fallen of the pop music band wagon (again).

I do love this song. I love its use in Night Catches Us. But Dear Lord it sticks in the brain.

Dragged Mr. B to see the stage show of this Saturday night. The sound mixing was terrible (which is worrisome, since it's the brand new huge performing arts center that's only been open a month--let's just hope it's an adjustment issue) but this has been stuck in my head ever since:
