Modern Warfare 2

#1 Post by Ruddy016 » 24 Oct 2009, 11:58

It's not long until 10/11/09 and the launch of Modern Warfare 2.

I can't wait to play this online and I'm sure (the UK postal strike not withstanding) that it will not disappoint. Games are taking over as my preferred choice of entertainment and this one will be huge.

If anyone is joining in on the PS3 network then send a friend request to me at Ruddy71, time to kick some ass!

Trying to, but it keeps freezing in single player mode. Google research suggests asking for a replacement from Activision. Anybody know of anything more practical?

He was glad to get it.

Have you saved the game to your hard drive first?

Negative. I read that as another recommendation, but didn't really know what it meant. I'll look into it.

On your dashboard wear it shows you the option to play the game, hit "Y" for game details. There is an option to install to hard drive. The disc must still be present in the system to play the game once it has installed but it puts less stress on your system because it is no longer reading from the disc but from your hard drive. Will run quieter, cooler, etc.

Aaaand... it made no difference. Last chance is that the saved game is corrupted some how. I'll play through the previous level (Wolverines!) again tomorrow. If that doesn't work I'm resorting to tech support (yes, I have tried turning it off and on again).

Seems it wasn't a game issue... (continued elsewhere)

A buddy and I have been playing the Co-op missions. We've only 6 stars remaining (in 3 missions) to complete the section. The levels are kicking our collective ass though. Wetwork (0 Stars), Snatch & Grab (2 Stars), and High Explosive (1 Star) are the levels(achieved stars) that stand between us and 100% completion.
