Rules:

1.) No internet searches or other reference materials of any kind are allowed. No using friends using internet searches or other reference materials, etc, etc. Otherwise, you're encouraged to get as much help from friends and family as you like.

2.) Exception to Rule #1: if you think that a lyric is from a certain song, you are welcome to look up that song to verify your guess. You should know the difference of whether you are cheating or not.

3.) Teams of 2 to 4 FilmWisers are allowed. Teams are still allowed to solicit help from friends and family. If you're teaming up, please list your team below; only one person per team should submit answers.

4.) Submit all answers via PM to me. Please list your answers in this format: artist – song title. You get 1 point for each correct artist, and 1 point for each correct song -- 400 total points possible.

5.) Submit as often as you like. I’ll reply to let you know which ones are correct. If you send multiple entries, include all of your answers each time (it’s also helpful if you put your updates in bold or another color).

6.) No artist will be repeated, but solo artists may appear both as themselves and as part of a group or duo. If the song has been covered, I'm looking for the first version (well, the first “well known” version).

7. ) Deadline is February 29, 2012

Notes:

a.) Big thanks to Mazer for her lyric contributions!

b.) Lyrics are in random order

c.) The quiz includes some songs that were used in a previous year, but not the same lyrics

d.) It is possible there are errors -- If you see something, say something. PM me and if I deem it significant enough, you may get a bonus point.

e.) Good luck. We're all counting on you.

OK, it's time for me to admit that I'm not going to have time to make a visual round this time. So, the quiz will have a total possible score of only 400. :) The deadline will be Leap Day, so it still counts as a holiday quiz, right?
