I’ve tried deleting individual FilmWise cookies first but it still doesn’t work. Any ideas or is the website at fault?
I get the same errors in Safari.
It looks like the site is unable to implement new cookies. I've tried logging on via Chrome at home - a browser I haven't used before and hence for which I have no FilmWise cookies - and got the same message I got at work. At work the cookies are dumped daily (at least they are for FilmWise) so I am unable to create a new one that sticks. Since both my iPhone and my home computer are using my old cookies, I am logged on automatically. As I'm not technically proficient with computer security nor phpBB, I have no idea whether this is relevant or not. It just seems peculiar to me. Hope this helps as I'd like to be able to FilmWise form work again.
I'm on Chrome at home, using existing cookies, and seeing these messages.
Yes, but at least you’re logged on, right? Or are you posting this from a different browser/appliance? I also see the aberrant messages, but at least I’m logged on and can post from my iPhone or home computer on IE.

I'm logged on at a different work station using IE. I still had a cookie and it looks like it's working though I can't yet tell if it will give me the same messages.

EDIT: It did.

Okay, finally had a chance to look at this. Seems like the hosting service updated their software, and the forum's version is no longer fully compatible (on a side note, trying to login to the admin panel got me locked out from my laptop too :s).

Anyway, I've reached out to Nipples to see if he wants me to attempt an upgrade. I have a free weekend coming up, but I'm not doing it until he gives me the go ahead.

Nipples is good with the upgrade, so the forums will be down a bit this weekend.

Okay, the update completed and I'm not seeing the error messages any more.

I'll keep working on getting things to look more like they did before, but I think we're fully operational.

the additional controls at the bottom of the forum pages is kinda cool. I can put the most recent post on page 1, top of page. this is going to take some tinkering.
site is much more responsive as well.

Okay, been working on new user registration functionality and cleaning up our database a bit. Deleted 50,000+ bogus accounts.

Additional changes will take a while. My web development experience is a few generations behind.

I can't figure out if this is a settings issue on my end, but when I click on a thread with an unread indicator, it no longer takes me to the most recent page. I'm being directed to the first page, every time.

minor details, i know. I'm just sharing out loud hoping someone has resolved this in their settings, as opposed to clicking on the last page each time.

Look to the right and you'll see the page numbers. I've done the same thing multiple times now as well as backing out all the way to the FilmWise main page instead of the Forums. Damn that muscle memory.

It still works the same for me. I click on the title in the Last Post column. Takes me straight to the last post. You can also click on the little arrow icon next to the poster's name to see the last post.
