Well I think it was anyway, I was basically asking whether, people thought that the DVD was killing cinema. It was in the Other Topics section, as I thought this was the best place for it.

The only reason I can think it was deleted was because I mentioned my Blog.

You could have just deleted the reference to it, or did it break some other forum rule, please let me know as I am pretty perplexed about it.

Thanks

We get a lot of one time posts linking to various sites, and our general policy is to delete them and ban the IP. Since it was your only post at the time, I took it as one of them. I usually go ahead and delete the post to keep it from getting responses, then wait a couple days before banning the IP if it seems like there's a chance its from someone that really wants to join in the fun here, so that's why you're still 'okay'.

Apologies for erring on the side of caution, and welcome aboard!

If you actually want an answer around here, you have to ignore most posts :-)

I, personally, don't think the DVD is killing the cinema. I own over 400 DVDs and use Netflix a lot but I still try to see most movies when they first come out (basically because my Netflix queue is so full I won't see a New Release DVD for a few years  )
