#1 Post by JP » 10 Dec 2002, 22:44

Started with the original and added Blonde...contemplating the rest or maybe just Brown...

Funnily enough, I bought 'Blonde' and I'll probably add 'Brown', too. Giving 'Pink' some thought, but there's the danger that should I reach that point, I'll think "screw it, I'll buy 'em all".

I've never heard of all these different versions. What's the difference?
Lionel Hutz, aka Miguel Sanchez, aka Dr. Nguyen van Thoc, was paid $8 for his 32 hours of babysitting.

He was glad to get it.

As far as I know, just the packaging...I believe the contents are all identical. Anyone else know for certain? (i'll get pictures up later)

I think there's a different booklet in the dvd for each person with their biography on it and some of their memorable lines.

Sorry if you feel like kicking my ass after this, but what a f*cking cheap way to get people to spend money on the different version.

There's no way I am buying another one - I already have the original.

I'm seriously wondering why, besides the factthat he was played by QT, is there a Mr. Brown DVD? wtf? He has, what, three lines?
A redder shade of neck on a whiter shade of trash.

Now, THAT is ridiculous. 5 copies of the same movie just so you can have different people on the cover. Er, no, thanks.

Yeah I know Best Buy was (may still be) giving away the Reservoir Dogs dvd of your choice when you buy a certain amount of dvds or something because this Christmas my parents came back from dvd shopping for my brother and I and they gave me a reciept saying that if I mailed it in I would be sent a copy of Reservoir Dogs. So I checked the box labeled Mr. Orange and mailed it. I should recieve it in a few weeks.
Vaughn-You talk in your sleep.
Sydney-No! What did I say?
Vaughn-"Don't frost the pie!" It seemed really important. (Salvation)

Mr Pink for me, and maybe mr orange.
We don't want your forgiveness. We won't make excuses. We're not gonna blame you, even if you are an accessory... But we will not except your natural order. We didn't come for absolution, we didn't ask to be redeemed.

Slight difference here.
The special edition has a red background, 5 sillohuetted men, each with a different colour tie.
Me too...

I had just gotten into Rez dogs and I couldn't find anything as far as Dvd's and videos went until like after a while I just went after the first thing I could find, so right now i have the mr. pink version, which is cool, I want them all, though that would be cool.
It's still too early to tell, but I may not be stupid.

I have a special edition with the CD of the soundtrack with it.
Black, classy.

Premiere made four different covers for the release of the Matrix Reloaded.
Did I feel like I had to buy Monica Belluci's one instead of Morpheus's???
What the hell, the photos and articles are the same inside!?!

You're beginning to turn into Al.

Empire Magazine did the same thing. "Collector's Edition" they call it. Really, am I that stupid? That I buy four copies of the same magazine and all I get is a different character on the cover. Er, no. I got Smith and I am way happy with that. It's such a blatant attempt at ripping off the poor fanboys.

New QT movies. Glorious Bastards (a war one) Kill Bill (Kung Fu) both of them have already began filming. The one i'm not sure about is The Vega Brothers. It's been confirmed and denied by Tarintino many times. Just thought i'd list them off here.

Doesn't it? I've been waiting for it for almost a year already. It was supposed to come out in April sometime but QT got carried away :) That's cool, it just means it's going to be that much better (I hope)

The best part is where Uma stabs her sword at that dude and he jumps up and is standing on the sword.

That does look cool, I'm expecting more Crouching Tiger-esque type moves in this, if not better than. I've seen the mortorcycle parts, maybe something good will come out of it.
