Now that assorted and sundry rights issues have been settled by the lawyers, Warner Home Video is planning a September reissue of the "director's cut" of Ridley Scott's 1982 noir-fi thriller, Blade Runner, Variety reports. That restored edition will only be available for four months, at which time Blade Runner: Final Cut — an even newer edit promised to be Scott's final, final take — will hit theaters for a limited 25th-anniversary run.

So now you can own the Theatrical and Extended Version on one disc while the 2nd just has some new special features? (are the old special features there too or are they gone?) It would be a nice space saver to own the Extended Versions in a 2-Disc set instead of a 4-Disc set. Wonder if it's a double sided disc or if they crammed the entire 4 hour EV on one side....

The new Blade Runner releases are a bit ridiculous.

2-Disc
4-Disc
5-Disc and a bunch of shit

Is the Final Cut still going to get a theatrical release?

When the next movie will be released on DVD, they can advertise the collection as FOR THE FIRST TIME ON DVD not as a trilogy.

Does it bother no-one else that they renamed it to be "Indiana Jones and the Raiders of the Lost Ark"?
It's fun, it's healthy, it's good exercise. The kids will just love it. and we put a little sand inside to make the experience more pleasant.

Yes, it bothers me, but didn't they change that awhile ago when the video was released?
