Being able to see them will make finding each a little easier.

He was glad to get it.

702 and counting...
(without the TV-Series, of course)
Then shalt thou count to three, no more, no less. Three shall be the number thou shalt count, and the number of the counting shall be three.

Well, there's a movie playing just about every Saturday and Sunday night. For August 4th. I am inviting some friends who have never watched a movie here.

I am passing out these tickets to everyone.

Image

We do the whole movie night deal when new folks come over. In the main entrance we have "lobby" music playing that pretty much sounds like lame elevator music. (Movie soundtracks of course, sampled at an aweful 8bits/11KBS) and of course we have the "snack bar" with all your favorite goodies. And once in the HT room, we have about 15 mins of movie trivia, followed by a couple DD intros and then just before the movie starts we have a custom HT reel fashioned after some of the major studios of today.

We have a blast with our HT!

Of course, I must apologize as this is WAY off topic for this thread.

Sorry guys...

Who cares if it's OT for the thread. Always nice to see someone new around here! Welcome!

Now you can start to explain why, of all movies, you picked Ghost Rider???
Come play with us, Danny. Forever and ever and ever.

I'm not really sure...

I work nights and was sleep deprived.

I liked the flaming skull pic so I made the tickets. I had hoped it would be a "middle of the road" movie that would appeal to the most people.

I'm guessing not at this point... huh?

Well, some people seem to have liked it, but I personally thought it was garbage, apart from Eva Mendes' boobs. And the unintentional hilarity that is Nic Cage nowadays...

Thanks guys,

I appreciate the kind words.

And now, to learn exactly how they make those invisibles....

Is there a place to post fan created invisibles?

Welcome to FilmWise, friend.

Here is a thread with some info on creating invisibles.

And if you check here, down the right-hand side there is an email address where you can send any you've created.

Hmmm...

I would have thought that there would be a forum where people could post their pictures rather than sending them into Filmwise "office". I think that alot could be learned and shared in the community by posting us noobies work publicly. learn and share techniques so that we could get better at it.

I say a thread should be created where we can post our pics, whether they are of good or bad quality. And everyone could give feedback as to what they think could have been done differently or the creator themselves could post a tutorial on how they did the particular picture.

No one has ever tried a thread like this???

It strange... as highly popular these are, that there aren't those who think that they would like to have a go at creating some of our own and putting them in a forum for review...

If it's a bandwidth issue for filmwise, then we could post our pics somewhere on the net like photobucket and then just place a link in our posts for them... similar to what I did for the above pictures of mine.

Well, sa91899, the truth is that some of us have tried to make Invisibles. Problem is we tend to suck at it. Feel free to create such a thread, it'd be interesting to see what people come up with.

I'm sure I do to, that's the fun of it AND helps us appreciate the real deal even more!

Hope to see some of you post in the new thread also...

Would I post in the filmwise stuffages section? Maybe Quizwise?

I would say Quizwise, because most quizes are hosted there. It would make a good chain-game, albeit one that may not run too fast (not many people here who are too good at making invisibles, as stated by Nunis (our one and only Queen) above.

I like the idea of creating our own invisibles and posting them to get feedback from peers. Maybe The Boyz will like some of ours and want to create a weekly quiz of them  Or someone could use them to make another excel quiz (Nunis ;)).

Back to dvds... I own about 150. Which I think is pretty impressive since I only bought a dvd player a year ago. It's also why I have crippling credit card debt and sleep in a box.
