I just hit a milestone of 300. That's counting indivdual titles, not discs themselves.

Loads of vids, not all films though. Got endless TV shows and sports events.
Stocked up at the weekend, bought 14 new ones.... nice :D

You better start planning which movie you're going to make #100. You want it to be a good one, worthy of such a milestone. Don't waste it on Cannonball Run or something.

You're right. I hadn't given any thought to that at all. I do need to make the 100th special.

I celebrated Student Loan Day yesterday by buying 6 new ones, moving me on to 70, yeah!
Lionel Hutz, aka Miguel Sanchez, aka Dr. Nguyen van Thoc, was paid $8 for his 32 hours of babysitting.

He was glad to get it.

Having good friends does pay off!! My birthday was yesterday and I managed to walk away with 13 DVD's ad enough gift certificates to buy 10 more. I'm pretty much out DVDs to buy now. I guess 623 is a good number. But not for long.....

Just added "Young Guns" Special Edition for $14.95. The DTS soundtrack is invredible :o

And I have noticed that DVD profiler counts box sets like the Bond box set as one entry instead of 7 so I've kinda lost cost but should be close to 300.

With some box sets you can add the box and the movies, and then associate them all and not number the box set (e.g. Wayne's World 1 & 2: The Complete Epic, but not The Godfather). But you may already know that ...
It's such a fine line between stupid and clever.

probably have 250+ DVD's it works out cheaper to import a DVD than go to the pictures a lot of the time - only go to the pictures for the really big films

Number of DVDs

DVDProfiler says that we have 347, got a few that we haven't catalogued yet, so probably pushing 360!

Yes, have in alphabetical order (how else would we find them). Got some great revolving DVD cabinets from Soundstyle in the UK.

Don't work in a video store just love movies!

:D

Woo hoo!! I don't have a DVD player (I just waiting for the day it will happen; it took years for me to convert from cassette tapes to CD's...we'll see about the DVD). Anyway, I have around 60 "actual" videos and a buttload of movies taped off of television. (I, too, keep everything in alphabetical order, as with everything else I own; serious problem here).

I feel like such a lightweight! I have only 44. Man, I need to get some more! That will change when Scarface gets out.
