I'm so tired of not being able to sleep. Is that statement ironic or oxymoronic...or neither?

It's Alanisironic.

(Dammit, there has to be a better word for things like 10,000 spoons when all you need is a knife, etc.)

:green: and have you ever tried Valerian Root? The liquid form of that really puts you to sleep and it's natural, so no addictive properties and no hangovers.

I'm going to put in another plug for time release melatonin, 20-30 mg an hour before bedtime.

Downside -- bad insomnia this morning.
Upside -- when you jog at 4 am, there's a possibility you could encounter a fox in the big city.

And so starts the treatment for my new porn flick.

Can't wait for the screenplay. Wait. Are those things written?

You just wrote/read the screenplay. What more do you want? Dialog?

Am I asking too much?

I've been going through some weird sleep pattern reverb where one night I'll pass out on the couch at 8:30 then wake up at 1am for about 2-3 hours before falling back asleep... the next night I'll be up until 1am and sleep through 7, then back to the first, with an occasional can't sleep at all until 4am or so then need to be up by 6:30 or 7.

It's like a box of chocolates for sleep disorders for me right now.

I've got the same thing going, sorta. I go to sleep at 11, wake up at 11:45 then stay up until 1, back to sleep until 4 then up until 6. If I am able to sleep through the first part, then I'm just up from 4-6.

Yes, I'm up too early.

No, I'm not terribly happy about it.
