After being inspired by Dappucino's Top 5 film stars you'd like to sleep with i thought i'd open it up to your top 5 of anything. Just name the title and give the list. Then other people can comment or make up their own. Seems like a good idea for a string to me.....

Top 5 Bond Girls

1. Tanya Roberts (View to a Kill)
2. Denise Richards (World is Not Enough)
3. Halle Berry (Die Another Day)
4. Honor Blackman (Goldfinger)
5. Ursula Andress (Dr. No)

Oooh!

Because I'm a sap its got to be my top five love declarations of films of recent years, some are obvious but warm my heart all the same :D

1) Holden's eventual outburst of love for Alyssa (but erm, not the bit where he suggests a threesome  ) in Chasing Amy, got a biiiig thing for Ben Affleck after that, sigh
2) I know, I know, this is so cheesy but Harry's outburst on New Years at the end of When Harry Met Sally, just lovely (got a thing for outbursts, obviously haha)
3) Don't actually think its supposed a love scene but in The Terminator, when Kyle says to Sarah that he did it for her, ar bless, cue lots of animal like bonking, made me sappy anyway haha!
4) the film is pretty pants but Great Expectations when Ethan Hawke shouts up to Gwyneth Paltrow's room 'everything i did, i did it for you' (or something along those lines), sigh, wish i had ethan shouting that to me (or anything in fact, get out the house its on fire would do for me  )
5) Amelie is a firm favourite of mine (never!!) - when she opens the door to run after him and he's standing there.. arrrrr i'm such a sap.

On that note I am going to run from the room sobbing as I'm so bloody single!! haha (or thank my lucky stars that I'm saved from the real life dissapointment, haha!!)

My list of the top 5 characters that would have improved the movie had another actor played their role.

(5) Interview with the Vampire - anyone but Tom Cruise as Lestat. Alternately, someone who actually fit the description of Armand instead of Antonio Banderas.

(4) X-Men - Love him as I do, someone less wrinkled than Ian McKellen for Magneto. A Rutger Hauer type - but I haven't seen him lately so as far as I know he could be just as wrinkled.

(3) Gladiator - I don't know who, but not Joaquin Phoenix as Commodus.

(2) LOTR: Fellowship of the Ring (but not The Two Towers or Return of the King because it doesn't apply there) - They needed to NOT have Glorfindel (important book character) removed from the movie and NOT have his lines (and HORSE!) split between Aragorn and Arwen.. and as Liv Tyler replaced his entrance and stole his horse (and mangled a few lines), in that particular part she needed to be replaced in those scenes by a Denzel Washington type with that kind of presence that just draws you in, natural charisma, infinite kindness, (being damn hot doesn't hurt, either), and wisdom behind the eyes (though it would have to be a white man, not for an anti-black-people reason, just that the description in the book calls for it.) Anyone have any suggestions for who could pull that off?

(1) HP & the Chamber of Secrets - and bear with me. While I was reading the book, in order to make it funnier for me I pictured another person in the role of Gilderoy Lockhart (Kenneth Brannagh's character).. and I know I would've enjoyed the whole movie a lot better if my choice, Christopher Walken, had played that role. Also, they needed those cheesy, "really bright, charming smile," twinkle fx added in. Before you flame me - think back to his opening monologue the last time he was on Saturday Night Live.. with the singing and dancing.

Hannibal! Surely not! Surely there a thousand sequels better than that rubbish!

Sorry, I actually liked it and at least it wasn't a sequel just to be a sequel - it had justification! In the next 2 years there are plenty of things coming out that I pray will knock this off of my list.

Great top "5", can understand why it broke the rules, could have been even more - Denise Richards, Charlie Sheen, Elliot Gould (Regular), Kathleen Turner, Morgan Fairchild and many, many more, right down to Van Damme.
