Random thing that made you sad

#1 Post by spivey » 22 Feb 2005, 12:24

Is there a thread for this already?

Anyway, I just gave my notice here at work. :( I'm definitely excited to go to NY, but this is hard as well. This is the best place I've ever worked and they've been incredibly kind to me.

But alas, as Peter Cetera would say...

We did it all for the glory of love

I'm sad that I have to find work...It's been a fun year off (yeah, I know I was spoiled) but back to the rat race... :(

I just had to give "medical advice" to someone who refuses to go to the ER even though they are coughing up blood and tissue because they are afraid they will go back to jail.

The last episode of NYPD Blue.
Ok, so it probably is my favorite TV show of all time, but more than that, I've watched every episode since it came on with my dad. My dad and I always did our best bonding on Tuesday nights watching NYPD Blue, even after I got married, I work midnights so I would leave early for work and go to my Dad's house to watch it before heading into work. It was a great show and I'll miss it, but I'll miss watching it with dad even more.
Maybe my wife is right, FilmWise is my support group.

Maybe you and Dad will like the show taking it's timeslot... Blind Justice? It's also by Bochco.

This is odd but all Adam Sandler films make me cry (not because they suck)
I bet he'll be crying himself to sleep tonight on his huge pillow.

All good adventures should start with a wave and end with a tear, I know if I ever leave this s**thole I'll be more than a little choked up.

I don't understand people. For some reason, the whole mess in Florida with the remains of the 9 year old has me all choked up. Why would someone do that to such a little girl? I don't get it.
