That's fantastic!

Thanks for the link - that might come in useful when I have to teach physics very, very soon :yikes:
Statler: Well, how do you like the film?
Waldorf: I've seen detergents leave a better film than this.

That was awesome.
You see, Hopsi, you don't know very much about girls. The best ones aren't as good as you probably think they are and the bad ones aren't as bad. Not nearly as bad.

Wonderful! :)
It's fun, it's healthy, it's good exercise. The kids will just love it. and we put a little sand inside to make the experience more pleasant.

Otherwise good, but I failed to see the "left the baby on the bus" among the collection.

a majority of these list things suck ... but I actually liked this one — especially thanks to the new-fangled in-page YouTubery

I know some people here will like Battle of the Album Covers
Lionel Hutz, aka Miguel Sanchez, aka Dr. Nguyen van Thoc, was paid $8 for his 32 hours of babysitting.

He was glad to get it.

As you may recall, I'm currently looking for a new home at the moment. I've spent a few hours of this morning setting up a few viewings for next week. However the last one I've arranged seems to be for the same property I'd already arranged to view earlier, with a different agent. Nothing unusual about that perhaps, but it's being advertised at two different prices (£4k difference). This should be interesting...

I was driving home from work last night and drove past the "El Rancho" motel. I don't often think about it but last night I did. This is the hotel in Planes Trains and Automobiles that they stay at after the car burns up. It started me thinking about other film locs. near me. For instance, there is a 4 lane highway in my hometown that is only about 3 miles long. It has been used many times (Groundhog day, Batman begins, The Blues brothers).
anyway...probably only interesting to me :? but there it is.

Open any website (the more colours and images, the better), then replace the address in the address bar with this.

Code: Select all

javascript:R=0; x1=.1; y1=.05; x2=.25; y2=.24; x3=1.6; y3=.24; x4=300; y4=200; x5=300; y5=200; DI=document.images; DIL=DI.length; function A(){for(i=0; i<DIL; i++){DIS=DI[ i ].style; DIS.position='absolute'; DIS.left=Math.sin(R*x1+i*x2+x3)*x4+x5; DIS.top=Math.cos(R*y1+i*y2+y3)*y4+y5}R++}setInterval('A()',5 ); void(0);

That was pretty cool indeed! Why on earth would anyone create something like that, though?
