If there's a useless thread in here, chances are excellent that JJ created it.

Not a movie line, but:

"Heath Ledger Died."

When my son asked why he wasn't in the new Joker movie.

Not a meeting, not a movie line ... hope you'll enjoy it all the same.

OK, so I'm at a doctor's office patiently awaiting my turn. The clerk slides the partition and announces:
"Miss Jackson"

I couldn't help myself, adding aloud, "... If you're nasty"

I attend several meetings a week in which someone uses the word "synergy"......

I have decided that on the day that I have had enough, I swear I am going to throw out this line (AND, with the silly accent :D )

I've got so many lines that I want to reference at work (school) that just aren't appropriate and/or no one will get.

Example: I'm nearing the end of my long term substitute job, and I was discussing this with a few of the teachers I've been working with. One of the teachers mentions that the principal will definitely find a was to utilize me on campus after the full time teacher returns. Idiocracy flies through my head. I ask if anyone knows the movie (since I can't really throw out lines, or make related gestures). blank stares...

technically, I didn't throw it out, but....

On a conference call I was explaining how on a disconnect order Verizon gives us a 5-business day buffer before they close out the order (in case we need to restore service), and one of my buddies states "Yeah, we had a lot of buffers"

I think I was the only one on the call who got the reference
