Javier Bardem to play the villain

That sounds good so far. Better not mess this one up...

Could be interesting, they always said they would never have a Q in the new fangled Bonds, but now they have... and its: Ben Whishaw (who I actually rate as an actor)

I vaguely remember some flack talking about Q not being in the newest Casino Royale because he wasn't in the book (then reading somewhere that Q is actually at least mentioned in the book) and, of course, that Quantum of Solace is at least an immediate follow up (chronologically) to CR, but no more than that. Any more details on past Q-related claims? My memory is like a sieve lately ...

And could someone please update the thread title (to "Skyfall")?

Our exchange related to the idea that in Asterix the greatest fear of the Gaulois is that the sky may fall on their heads. Inspired by this fancy, I posted a recurring phrase from the series, to which Sela replied indicating he understood the reference. I then combined Bond with Asterix in a silly phrase evoking a situation where someone orders a large granite block of the kind that Obelix carries around in the series, but one that is chiselled, not stirred. Sela then suggested, in the manner of Asterix and Obelix, that I may be a bit soft in the head. To which I replied that the brassicae, especially the broccolis (referring here to the producer dynasty) were even softer in the head.
That is all.
